i like how some of you dislike me so much that you go and try to paint me into a party box. FACT: i vote based on the candidate, just like many of you. FACT: i have strong convictions which i vote based on. it just so happens that the only truly conservative party out there with any pull whatsoever is the GOP, therefore I end up voting for them. I will not vote for anyone who might possibly raise taxes, deteriorate certain values, expand government, and be lax on terror. if a member of the GOP supported ANY of those, i would not support him, plain and simple.

and you're tired of people trying to paint you in a party box?

bush, as well as every president since the 1930s, has expanded gov, and i do not like that.

bush has not been lax on terrorists. he has taken the fight to the middle east, helped introduce new terror fighting programs, and has allowed for the military spending to do so.

That, to me, is lax on terror sans Afghanistan.

If I remember right, there was no al qaeda in Iraq, before we arrived. Now that's tough on terror ... generate terroists so you can show them who's boss ...

P.S. - I completely agree with our invasion of Afghanistan ...

You'd be hard pressed to find people who were against it.
