Making it illegal won't make it go away. You may not agree that abortion is a basic human right or anything, but the genie has been out of the bottle for a long time now. Women who need or want abortions will do whatever it takes to get one--where the fuck do you think all the coat hanger jokes came from? It's much safer, more humane, to provide them with clinics that have the benefit of qualified medical personnel, sanitary conditions, and information about the pros and cons of abortion and alternatives to abortion. Women do not need to be protected from themselves, and their choices about their bodies do not need to be criminalized. What women deserve is the ability to make an informed decision for themselves, and all you anti-choice sons of bitches need to learn to respect that.
