They had no business based on the records coming into today. No one can really say who is the better team, that's why they play games. Based on the numbers coming in, USC was *more likely* to be the better team. Not 100% better. I stand by my statement, based on the numbers coming in, Michigan had no business playing in the championship. I still don't think they belong there to be honest.

florida is not a good team, and neither is usc (who just "proved" it). michigan has played better than any of them and almost beat the #1 team in their own house. like it or not, michigan should be #2 12/2/2006 7:58:37 PM |

florida deserves as much as USC ever did...the media went ahead and crowned USC but USC is who we thought they were!!!!!
Michigan still deserves it though just like they always did because they are clearly the second best team in the nation, so what if they have already played, i mean i have never seen a team not be allowed to play in a championship game just because they were suppose to play a team that already beat them in the regular season 12/2/2006 8:08:02 PM |

what?? how are they CLEARLY?
look you dumbnuts, let me spell it out again...
the problem is you act like Michigan is by far and away the best team... I would agree with you that if Ohio State was 12-0, Michigan was 11-1, and Florida, USC etc were 6-6, then yes, they should have a rematch. But when we are talking about multiple 1 loss teams and you have to go down to schedule/margin of victory/margin of defeat etc, and one of those has JUST played the undefeated team, then someone else should get a chance. Do I think Florida will beat Ohio State, nope, no way, they will get killed probably, but they should have a chance to physically play them on the field like Michigan did instead of having a bunch of faggots decide they wouldnt have a chance on paper

Look at the teams they play. Florida has a better defense. Michigan is the better team.
Florida really isn't a factor at this point. They needed to win and win big. They aren't going to win big.
It's UM-tOSU without a doubt..
V really? Well, UF will likely be 2 in the computers but I can't see the humans putting them over UM in either of the polls.. I just don't see it happening personally. I'd like it to because frankly I'm sick of SOME of the Michigan fans on here..

nope, besides Texas and Notre Dame there are not any other teams that they have played that are still ranked. But you see it doesnt matter because they didnt lose to any of these unranked teams, they stood up to every opponent on their schedule and beat them - usually badly 12/2/2006 8:31:16 PM |

i don't see OSU or Michigan losing to anyone other than OSU or Michigan
a close loss to the no.1 team is much more respectable
