I have no idea what you are trying to say here......Someone mentioned that "anything can happen" in the rivalry between NC State and UNC basketball. There have been 3 or 4 major upsets (all by us because they are usually favored) in the last 15 seasons...this does not translate to "anything can happen". But hey, if one major upset every 8 meetings constitutes "unpredictability...anything can happen...you never know when these two teams match up" to you, then have at it. Just say you hate UNC like the rest of and don't give a reason, instead of fabricating ideas that you seem to think strengthen your argument that give this fanbase the title "most delusional" we get nationwide and especially down tobacco road.

....If anything, the UNC-NCSU football rivalry is unpredictable as far as underdogs winning.

thats your problem. youre so caught up in the ncsu vs unc aspect of it that you don't understand that upsets of a team like unc by a team like us happen ALL THE TIME. the fact that it hasn't happened between these two schools has nothing to do with it.

It's becoming painfully evident you have not been watching NC State basketball for very long. Yes, upsets occur every day, and yes the top 5 teams in the country lose at some point. And yes, over the last 15 years, NC State has knocked off some good teams. But, the ACC over that time span has always had multiple teams in the top 15, so in theory, we have many more chances to knock off the great teams. if the one victory out of 5 or 6 over them makes you happy, I'm glad for you, the other 80% which includes numerous beatdowns are what concerns me, but to each his own.

I'll explain this to you and sorry for not spelling it out to you although i thought I did. You said a win over UNC (or a big win over a 1, 2 or 3) would make you excited, I did to. You made the stretch that it "could change your life." When a team is that good to cause such a change in quality of life, it means that THEIR program must be pretty damn good, therein lies the indirect compliment you gave them. If I were K or Roy and teams rushed the court every time we beat them, it would be the undeniable proof that I had built a special program, because the praise of your opponents is the ultimate, and you saying you would be that happy as to change your life proves it
