yeah i hang out with a group of girls who are teachers, and its not uncommon for these girls to bring home random men for the weekend, or two in one weekend. they get wild. i could totally see one of them doing her students, but not till they were hs age

Preach Hooksaw! I agree entirely. The only exception being Mary Kay Letourneau. I think she actually fell in love with Vili. I mean they're still together after all of these years so it obviously wasn't strictly a sexual thing. It can happen. But for the most part I think that teachers, male or female, that have sex with students are exploiting their authority because they know they can manipulate those kids. If it was a male teacher people would be calling for his head- definitely not measuring his "hottness."

You will note well that (1) I didn't start this thread; (2) I am primarily fascinated, as you put it, with the disparity in sentencing of female teachers compared to male teachers convicted of various sex offenses with students; and (3) I am an educator who is also pursuing coursework and a continued career in education, so naturally, I am concerned with the general state of the education field as a whole.
