I will be most likely riding the bike there. going to pickup a throttle locker (depending up on price) that will save ur right wrist!

I will also meet up with you all at waffle house at 6am on sat.

does anyone want to carry my tools for me? I dont want to tote them the whole way

also who is in charge of directions etc.?

^cyclegear im guessing

hahah on 600rr this ride will be HELL. the sprocket setup i have only makes my rpms about 1k higher than the stock setup so that isnt bad.. yeah im going to put a pillow under my ass or something.

we will figure out rooms when we get there.

ill let u know about throttle lockers at cycle gear if i stop by there today after work

as far a throttle lockers....i've always used a rubber band. just take it and loop it inbetween the grip and throttle/switch bracket. you might want to loop it over a couple times. It won't jam up the throttle but gives just enough resistance to hold at a steady position. You can take it off as soon as you get off the highway. It was nice knowing this little trick having to commute raleigh/virgina beach weekly this past summer.

I work this evening at cycle gear if you guys want to come by - it should be like $15 for the "cruise control," but you can always call up there and say hey and ask me to look it up

well seems like f1001978 is willing to tow, and BigBlueRam was nice enough to offer a 3 bike trailer. That means we need another trailer with 2 or 3 bike capacity since AntecK7,JBaz,toyotafj40s and Squirt all wanna go.

stanw86 said he had a triler lined up, but ihavent heard from him in a few days, so i dont know if he is coming or not

maybe get SteveO tow a couple more bikes there and then just bring em back wednesday when he returns?

or we could have coupe people riding along and just take one trailer for the bikes that cannot make it there (or back ) on their own

i ordered some brake parts today, if they come in on friday, i can ride the r1. if not, i will def. need a trailer spot

i've offered enough trailer space between my 2 trailers to carry at least 4, possibly 5 bikes.

i probably need to know something on the enclosed trailer by tonight or tomorrow sometime at the latest so i can make sure it would be ready to go. it gets used in our business from time to time, so it may or may not have some stuff in it that i'd need to make sure got taken out.

the little retarted open trailer is just sitting in my back yard, ya'll can just grab it whenever/if you need it. i gave Squirt directions on where to dig up the spare wheel/tire.

it was 21 something with tax. they have 2 kinds. a throttle 'rocker' and a throttle lock. i got the lock.

rocker u still have to keep hand on acc.

I dont mind riding there since i have this cruise control crap and an mp3 player.

we will need to stop every 100-120 miles for gas though. how many miles is it there?

well we'll all caravan together so if the bikers need to stop and rest, we can all stop and rest. Of course you could always take turns riding and towing

no worries...we have 3 evo's in the group that will be stopping almost as many times as the bikes

ok so who's going in what?

toyotafj40s: 600rr riding it!

basically we need to figure out what everyone is bringing and trailer shit. it seems like we have almost enough trailers just not enough trucks? I would borrow my dad's truck but after my 21st im not in his good graces anymore

so please post what ur bringing etc. now not "oh yeah i gotta truck or yah i gotta trailer" we needa be a lil bit more specific.

Ivan... We will prolly need your trailers... But I am tryin to figure out who is going on what trailer being towed by who...
I can't go unless my bike is trailered because I am still somewhat a noob and I dunno how well I'd be able to keep up all the hot heads...

But then again I was passing all you homeboys last night But honestly.. I have work I can do on the way up there which I am counting on getting done on the trip up there

ha ha ok

[Edited on March 21, 2007 at 1:46 PM. Reason : asdf]

also I have 4 tie down straps. anyone is FREE to borrow them for the trip.

I will be bringing with me:
spare rear tire ... just in case
my crappy tool kit (fits in book bag but i would like to throw in someones truck along with the tire)
and a tire plug kit (just in case someone gets a flat)
my tie downs if someone needs them
ill try and find a sleepin bag

someone might also want to bring:

air pump
extra gas?
water?
lots of cdz!
sleeping bags since we're piling in hotel rooms

I can already tell this is going to get confusing with everyone posting what they will be riding with etc. but i guess it's the best way to do it?

so are we arriving at waffle house at 6am and then loading up ppls bikes etc?

allright, looks like WMVlad007 is hooking us up with a truck, and BigBlueRam is helping us out with the trailer.

that's fuckin teamwork right there

still be nice to have one more truck and trailer if noone wants to ride. but as long as we have one just in case some bikes are not gonna be rideable back home we should be allright

^igor is taking my enclosed trailer. i don't know who else is getting a spot in there, that's up to him i guess.

kyle told me a bit ago that you and he were probably taking my other trailer with SteveO pulling it? you've got it if you still want it, you were the first to ask about it. i told him you guys need to go measure it and make sure two bikes will fit though.
