crawls in circles, but can't quite really go forward yet. gets up on her hands and knees/hands and feet, though. she can kinda awkwardly walk if you let her hold your fingers like in the picture (and even managed to walk up a set of doggie steps at her great-grandparents' house the other night).

she's been crawling for 2-3 weeks now (since about 5.5 months), and in the last week or so, has started to pull up.

We took her to the doc for her 6 month shots last week, and she was 15 lbs. The doc went through a list of developmental milestones for each month of age, and at 6 months, she's already doing all of the stuff she should be doing through 9 months, with the exception of clapping her hands.

she can walk all the way across the room pretty easily, as long as she holds one of your fingers in each hand for balance. she can even climb small stairs in the same fashion, and even climbs them alternating (like an adult...not the way little kids usually do when they first learn how).

hahaha my niece rolled everywhere for a while... apparently she found it more efficient then crawling.
she knew how to crawl but preferred rolling... now she's almost walking (walkin w/aid)
she uses my dog as a walker its pretty funny.

^^^ should be in town for dad's wedding mid-august. i might only be here for that weekend, though...depends on how much leave i can get approved.

hopefully will be up there (well, in NC...not Raleigh) full time in about a year, although there are a lot of things that can change between now and then.
