i'd welcome a trade that would send carr to the raiders, especially considering the asking price is a mere 4th or 5th round pick. i think johnson is more of a sure thing than russell, and a change of scenery could do carr some good. oakland should have a much improved o-line this year, so we should get to see how carr can perform when people block for him.

so i just saw on the Bottomline that the Texans released David Carr and Domanick Davis. So not only do they just release Carr after paying him all that money, but Davis had been putting up good numbers and was arguably a reason why they didn't draft Bush...since they already had a good starting back. Just...wow.

Dominick Davis apparently changed his name to Dominick Williams. The link on sportsline said "Texans waive former draft picks Carr and Williams". I was like WTF because for a second I thought they meant Mario..
