to be honest the reason our fore fathers wanted us to have guns is so we could do to our govt. what they did to theres.

and not allowing us to have weapons of equal capability of the govt is violating that right in the 1st place.

They knew that sometimes people need to protect themselves from their own govt.

In principle I agree, although I also see the utility in placing restrictions upon who can get guns and who cannot. Yes I understand that laws only affect the law-abiding portion of society and that criminals will find ways to get guns regardless, but at the same time somebody needs to check and make sure that if you buy a firearm you'll be responsible with it. Or at the very least that you can be held accountable for its misuse thereof.

^This is also true, though I question how many people today would be willing to take up arms against our government if the government genuinely becomes tyrannical.

having extra fees, cards, and ID's to own a gun or purchase a gun or ammo is uncalled for


I can deal with having to have a permit, I can deal with CCW permits...


in some states you have to have a "firearms ID card" to purchase ammo

I think all that stuff does is help usher in registration

2. Build my roads.
