That's correct. In many cases, they classify hispanic perpetrators/offenders as "white", but classify them as "non-white hispanics" when they are victims.

However, with respect to the above statistics on race of perpetrator/offender in sexual assault cases, I think they may not have done this. There is an "other" category for race of offender, which accounts for 19.6% in the 2005 statistics for rapes of white women. I suspect most of these 19.6% were hispanics.

i find those statistics very hard to believe, mostly just because out 30,000 incidents, not a SINGLE one was a black victimized by a white person. it seems highly unlikely.

Not to take any sides here, but I thought this information would be relevant to the conversation.
According to the National Crime Victimization survey in 1994:
1. 80% of crimes committed against blacks were committed by blacks
2. 94% of black murder victims were murdered by blacks
3. 86% of white murder victims were murdered by whites
4. 56.3% of violent crimes committed by blacks are against whites
5. 2.6% of violent crimes committed by whites were against blacks
I couldn't find the overall white on white crime rate for comparison. The numbers confirm that blacks commit more violent crimes against whites than whites do blacks. Only about 15 percent of those (black on white violent crimes) were robberies which begs the question: what was the motivation for the others? Just a question.

I'm not going to argue with you. After re-reading the post I can see how you could have interpreted the question as innuendo, so I apologize for not being clear on the intent of the question. I got the impression reading this thread that many people feel there was a racial motivation of the crime mentioned. After giving those numbers I was interested in seeing what other possible motivations people thought might be behind theses crimes. I am actually rather undecided on the issue and was wondering what other people thought. So I'm sorry for the confusion. That being said, what do you think?

I'm not smearing blacks. I'm simply presenting facts as it relates to their disporportionately high rates of crime in the U.S.

And with this story, I'm also serving the purpose of shining the light upon exceptionally brutal cases of black-on-white crime that the national media repeatedly suppresses. It isn't obvious to me. I think you hit on it in your second sentence. Whites tend to commit more crazy crimes that grab headlines. The stakes are higher for your average white family non poor family.

The way you have tried to boil all this down into clear black vs white type of arguments is elementary at best. You need to step your game up. This copy and paste job you are doing really sucks.
