I hatespida you are the worest troll ever. D-ends get doubled all the time. If your the best d-lineman on the team they will double a end and only single block a tackle. What your saying is Peppers and reggie white never got double teamed as DE?? Just face it your sole argument is that he shouldn't have gone # 1 and that the texans should have traded to the saints for the #2 pick to get him. Which wouldn't have worked because if the Saints knew that the texans were not going to sign bush they would not have made the trade. Stop trolling in the sports section and go to Chit Chat or something where your stupid comments might get people to YELL BACK AT YOU.
PS. push the button to the left of "A' or above the left hand shift key.

Great post. Couldn't have said it better myself. However, he is going to be a badass in the NFL because people on this board say so.

I AGREE THAT ACC IS ONE OF THE WEAKEST FOOTBALL CONFERENCES...I MEAN ITS NOT AS HORRIBLY WEAK AND PATHETIC AS THE BIG LEAST, BUT ITS CERTAINLY NOT UP TO PAR WITH THE SEC

ALSO WHAT EXACTLY WAS REGGIE BUSH GONNA DO IN HOUSTON BEHIND A SHITTY O-LINE? DANCE AROUND AND GET THE SHIT KNOCKED OUT OF HIM ALL THE TIME?

BOY I SURE DO LOVE THE TASTE OF REGGIE BUSH'S SEMEN. OH REGGIE STOP! YOU'LL MAKE ME ACCIDENTALLY TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK KEY

Well, I don't think anyone claimed Mario had a better year than Vince, you're totally on point with that. You just got all of us NCSU diehards riled up because it's unfair to compare the two after only one year

Start this thread 5 yrs from now and maybe it'll make 10 pages....

^^No, its not unfair. As of now it was a terrible pick. And unless Mario has one of the best defensive careers ever, its always going to be a terrible pick. You people are just blinded by the truth because Mario went to NCSU. Thats why 99% of people who have anything to do with sports still say its a terrible pick. And its an even wore pick now since the Texans released Carr.

I'm actually not trying to make anything work. I am just trying to show you idiots the truth.

And it was about Bush and Mario untill the Texans released their "QB of the future" that they kept instead of drafting Young.

Honestly. How many years of Mario playing terrible will it take for you guys to admit it was a bad pick? 3? 5? 10? I really wanna know.

i dont get why this thread keeps going, i can sum it up real quick

1. as of RIGHT NOW, mario was a worse pick
2. nobody knows what the future holds for ANY of these players, so let's wait and see if mario ends up proving himself or if one of the other players becomes an absolute stud.
3. see mario over young...2 years later thread next year and resume arguement

^it'll take a year w/ mario playing at full strength. i'm sure if bush had plantar fascitis (or whatever) he would not have had nearly the same season he did. same goes for vince. so i'm saying lets just bring this up in a year.

^^Yes, I did. Quiet a few actually. And the main one that comes to mind is the one where Young won the game on a rushing TD for the Titans as Mario stood back near the line looking like "What the fuck just happened" as the entire stadium went wild cheering for the opposing teams QB. Oh, and the game was sold out because of Young too. See, every game could be like that for the Texans for awhile to come, but sadly, its not. The fans rarely get excited, and they don't sell out games. Something they needed right now since the Texans organization has done nothing but let them down over and over. Pretty soon it won't matter who they draft because nobody in that city is going to care anymore. One of the worst run franchises in sports.

No one likes what you say when you start a troll thread. But its alright still funny to read this thread.. No one has said the fact that Matt Schaub is a better QB than Vince young so I will state that.

Please tell me how that is a so called FACT? How many games did the Falcons win with Schaub as the starter?

^Thats one of the whole points. The Texans had a chance to draft a player, either Young or Bush, to make the people in Houston care, but they chose to pass on that. And now they are paying the price.

the texans' trainers must suck, because there are some pretty effective plantar fascitis treatments out there that don't take all that long

Every one of these trolls here said REGGIE BUSH was the way to go last year, so I don't even know why they are here now when it clearly would have been just as bad of a pick had they gotten what they wanted.

Oh yeah, because this is an NC State message board and they like trolling people.

No, its because the Texans passed on Young ONLY because Carr was their QB of the future, only to release him less than a year later. At the time, based on their decision of that, Bush was the best pick. But now that they released their "franchise QB" and missed out on Young, it has become a Mario vs Young argument. And its pretty easy to see that Young is winning it in a landslide. The guy had/has so much more upside to Mario in Houston it isn't even funny. And this isn't really being posted as trolling material, its being posted so that maybe you NCSU fans will wake the fuck up and finally admit Mario was not a great pick at #1.

I have always said that Young would have been a better pick for Houston. But not because I don't think Mario will be great, because he will be. Young was a hometown guy and a good player who could be very productive.

However, Mario was a better pick than Bush would have been.

It takes a lot for a defensive player to be taken #1. And I mean a lot. It rarely happens. So when it does, that defensive player better be the badass of college football, which Mario clearly wasn't. He wasn't even close. Hell, the guy wasn't even mentioned in the Hiesman talk....EVER. He has good size, and had a good combine, sadly, as we have seen so far, that doesn't make you a good player in the NFL. Perhaps Mario should get 4.5 as his plate on his Lambo. Not for how fast it does 0-60, but for how many sacks he had his rookie year. And I doub't he ever would, because thats neither a good 0-60 time for that car, and its not a good sack number for the #1 pick.

At least this debate is finally settled:

Mario > Bush >> dogshit >>>>> Vince Young

Mario has been a top 10 player at his position now his entire career. Bush had some success in NO, but has been inconsistent and hurt alot. Young was good for like 10 games.
