I wouldnt hate the players if they didnt spike the ball like they just won a fucking super bowl after scoring a touchdown to put them up 42-10 11/19/2007 2:59:26 PM |

I hate the players who spike the ball after they score and they are still down by 30/40 points or more.

???? Brady will have that 4th one to match Joe this year... even the most ardent Montana fans out here on Sports Talk radio in the Bay Area are willing to admit that Brady needs to be in the conversation as one of the best ever right with Joe... if he wins his 4th ring this year.

they aren't going to win the SB if they don't sure up that run D.....McGahee ran all over them yesterday.
I hope they go 18-0 and lose in the SB....or 16-0 and lose in the second round of the playoffs. 12/4/2007 11:41:40 AM |

They will not win the SB if they keep playing like this. Playing real teams in the playoffs will be a brick wall. 12/4/2007 12:12:11 PM |

i wouldnt count them out just yet
but their recent games versus the Eagles and Ravens certainly make them seem a lot more human than they have throughout the first 10 weeks 12/4/2007 12:13:43 PM |

i know everybody likes to get on their knees and fellate QBs, but its the coaching.
this shit is chess not checkers.
the system and the team wins games. yes you need a decent QB to have win games, but the system trumps individual QBs.
that said, i still think Manning is better than Brady. 12/4/2007 12:19:46 PM |

so its mere coincidence that the best teams in the NFL also have the best QB play in the NFL? Is it Brady and Manning and Favre and Romo who are winning games, or is it their coaches? I don't see Belichek out there making tackles or drawing bullshit DPI penalties12/4/2007 12:46:10 PM |

yeah but he's about the only exception this season...cincy's horrible defense and injuries to their running game have hindered them as a team...and yeah teams like New England and Green Bay have good defenses...but still, the best teams in the NFL have the best QBs...Drew Brees is another exception but just look at Brady, Manning, Romo and Favre...great QBs, on the top 2 teams in each conference 12/4/2007 1:09:23 PM |

Yeah I realize that, he's just the example I use when people use brady's championships to say he's the greatest.
But now that brady is finally getting great stats, suddenly they do matter. 12/4/2007 3:12:09 PM |

certainly not because its a team sport...but when your team is really good (ie Pats, Colts) its a much fairer comparison...Marino to Dilfer isn't a fair comparison...Manning to Brady is a fair comparison12/4/2007 4:00:36 PM |

actually I have, but he made them what they were. Put them on virtually any other team, and they're average at best. They had the fortune of playing virtually every season with Marino.....not to mention he never had a consistent running game either. 12/4/2007 4:50:05 PM |

ha, Carr at 2nd to last.
Interesting fact, at this point in Manning's record setting season, he had more TD's than Brady does right now.
