#4, I'm blown away. I don't think I've seen a single person say anything relating to "thanks" or "glad to hear you weren't hurt." Thanks for reminding me why I don't post in the garage anymore. Situation sounds sketch as fuck though and I dunno about stopping 100 yards down the road. I honestly thought cops never stopped on roads like that.

Perhaps y'all should start traveling in twos going through neighborhoods like that.

Also, a combination of a high-resolution panoramic camera and a gunshot mic seems like something that could be useful here. Just mount it right behind the lights on top and have it stick up just high enough that right after the shot it takes a picture. I imagine it wouldn't be impossible to find an outstretched arm from somebody peeking out behind a corner. Hell, they could just make it a constant high-definition motion video and catch the entire thing that happened so they could determine whether or not to bust your balls and put you on probation or to have further evidence when pursuing a crime.

Just a late-night rant there. Glad you aren't hurt, and I have mixed opinions on the war on drugs, so I've no comment on the drug bust.

There are probably a handful of decent people living there who would love for more cops to show their presence. It's just that the trash of the neighborhood has more control over what goes on there than the police.
