I'm not that sure, he seems like hes getting a ton of playing time in these first two games. we'll see more of him than we did last year (which is a big surprise considering our talent this year vs last year).

i'm sure we'll see more of him if the opposing team tries to throw a zone defense at us again

other than that, i'm not so sure he'll get much more playing time than last year

^^It isn't that much of a surprise, since we don't have much depth as far as guards go. Especially with Javi hurt and Johnson not elligible yet, Trevor should get plenty of playing time for the next couple games.

Fergie had a bit of a break-out game, and damn near had a double-double. GG.

Smith hustles better than Hickson, IMO. Dude needs to practice freethrows though.

Grant - free throws sucked, forced it some, but didn't play stupid for the most part.

Fells - could be the best man on the floor. Gots to finish at the hoop first though.

Degand - fast as greased goose shit. Can't wait to see how Degand and Javi work together.

Horner was the most productive player per minute. Kid is going to blow up one of these games.

Team looked frustrated in the first half. Syd made adjustments at the half, and we won by 35. That's what the pre-season is for. In Syd I Trust.

the one thing i like so far this year is that it seems like we are definitely going to have a lot of depth. hopefully if someone is having a down game, we have other capable players that will be able to step up and fill the void that night.

free throws might be our achilles heel this year...

I thought that was an ugly game overall.... but then again you could tell they played hard as hell and our boys were just out there fuckin around....

^we shot 87.5%(21-24) from the line against Barton, so i think they just had a bad FT shooting game this time

what brought us down so much was the two freshmen and Ferg(who hasn't played a whole lot)

Hickson 1-4
Ferguson 0-2
Smith 1-7

this type of game is one where Lowe gets to experiment with sets, i wouldn't take is as any indication for anything

The only thing that I'm remotely bothered with is the free throw percentage. Get that squared away and we're winning some of the close games. They don't call them free for nothing.

Like someone said earlier, it could be that Sid was experimenting with different stuff, but I thought we also played a bit sluggish.

Hickson is a beast but he seems to take forever to get down the court.

Dagand needs to learn to control his speed and he will be great.

Fells tried to show off a bit. I think he has the potential to be awesome, but he either doesn't step up or he tries to be to flashy. He needs to find some middle ground there.

Anyone know why Ben didn't start? He didn't even come out of the locker room till a few minutes into the game.
