wow, the way about 95% of the other threads about ncsu football are going, you'd think we've already chalked up the win and got bowl invitations


i hope the team has come down from the clouds and back to reality that this wake team is a fine tuned machine with lots of experience.

as we learned last year this team only needs to get to our 40 yard line to chalk up 3 points. I hope we play great, so half the people that already bought their tickets to san fran or boise won't start FIRE TOB threads this saturday.

Anyone know if Andre Brown is playing this game? He was listed as probable or something. Also, with Eugene's recent rampage, would Brown come back as the starter or would they keep Eugene starting?

This does not make sense to me. It implies that Miami would be selected above us. Even though we have the same overall record, we have a better in conference record, and we beat them in the head to head. Then depending on what happens in the Maryland game, the same scenario will arise.

The big question is who will start next year. Brown is a game breaker and Eugene is a work horse. Hopefully baker will also be ready. Currently his recovery isn't going as good as expected, so he'll miss spring practice and may/may not be ready for the fall.

Tom O'Brien has never just used one workhorse back, with the obvious exception of Eugene by necessity. Next year we will be back to a 3 back rotation. Ced Hickman will be a solid fullback. Don't be surprised to see us find ways to get 2 on the field at the same time either, with 2 backs in the shotgun, a back in the slots (we have been lining up fullbacks in the slot at times this year), or even a 2 RB I formation.
