Whatever, I think people should be able to date whoever they want. If they are happy then that's all you should ask for. Screw trying to have the textbook life to be happy, then you'd be striving your whole life trying to find happiness that you'll never get and you'll just end up being unhappy.

the oldest ive ever dated was 12 years older, and it worked out allright.

the 8-10 years above seems to work the best for me though. I just click better, generally i have the same goals and such in my life of someone that age, so i can relate better then with another 22 year old.

I dunno.. I think I am more likely to go for younger guys... I have found tho that a 28 year old can be just as immature as a 20 year old.. maturity is a frame of mind not age!

There are few things I will not stand for. At least I can say that I know what I want... And I wont be happy til I get it! And I will do what it takes to get what I want besides lie, cheat steal and become a whore (although the last one sounds fun!)

And guys can be just as wishy washy as girls...

Ha I want a guy who's into badass things and is active into the same things I am and more but is sweet, understands that my career and school are important to me, intelligent and supportive of my goals...

I don't think thats a lot to ask for... but when i look around, there are alot of dumb and lazy guys...

I wont stand for a guy that makes me or will make me support him (totally financially)
I wont stand for a guy that doesn't respect me
I wont stand for a guy that is respectful of other people around him
I wont stand for a guy that doesn't care about his body and health

haha i am gonna agree with daddytime on this one. it may work for some people...but i think a lot of times there are some strange issues going on if a guy wants to date someone a lot younger than him or vice versa. i can't really elaborate, but i'll never date older again, at least not more than a few years.

Against my better judgement I'll throw in the fact that I have been with a middle-aged guy for over four years and that we're still good friends. If you really like the dude and both of you are adults, age does not matter. Unless you want to make a life with him, which in his case is impossible because he'll be dead by the time you hit menopause.

Yeah, I pushed Tony's buttons a lot. But now that we're cutting down on the drinking and we're not living together (religious reasons) we've calmed down too, and that always helps.

id probably date older again given the chance.

12 years older seemed to work the best for me, just too many minute issues, such as traveling a lot, made it too complicated to deal with.

older men understand women, and for the most part, their at the point in their life where they WANT a woman around and see themselves doing things with someone around them. The biggest thing i see with dating younger men is that they are so encompassed in doing what they want to do or doing their own thing, they just aren't at a point in their life where adding someone into those plans isnt either something they physically see, or a priority in their lives.

i dont think its as much a matter of age as what your life goals are and if you're on the same page as far as maturity and other things go. The best relationships i've had so far are with the people that knew exactly what they wanted to see in their life for the next year, 5 years and 10 years to look back and feel happy, and our goals seemed to match give or take.
