Funny how fast the City of Raleigh can jump all over important issues like people parking on grass in the homes that they rent, but can't seem to pull together an ordinance to protect water conservation efforts during a drought.

I am sure these HOA's are the same ones that get pissed when peoples landscaping turns brown because they do not have any spare water for it.

Where's the news story about the guy who was actually jailed for not having a green enough lawn? And the guy had honestly put forth the effort and money two years in a row to have a nice yard and it just never took

ok that guy has 8 rain barrels all around his house. they are an eyesore. there is no need to have THAT many of them.

It's at the beach though on a (soon to be reopened) nice ass golf course.

And I haven't paid the damn thing in about a year now lol, trying to get it sold before they cut off my water or some shit

^^^ Better sell it before they put a lien on your shit. A lot of HOAs have that right written into the bylaws.
