I had to drive all the way to Fuquay today to get some Smithfields. That place is falling apart. They brought out a dark meat combo platter when I asked (and paid) for white meat. So they bring me some white meat chicken and there is a damn big black hair right on top of the breast.

This shit wouldn't fly on Western Blvd. Ok, it might and probably would be far worse, but at least I'd only have to drive like a mile and a half for it.

i always thought they should put one on st marys where that seafood restaurant is now (it was a crab place for a while and a cold stone i think at one point). they can't seem to keep anything there for long. it's slightly out of the way (not on a major rd), but considering there's no one in raleigh, they'd probably get good business and be able to keep something in that location

You know what they need to fix though...
Why come when you try to get some ketchup at Smithfields the bottle is greasy as hell.
What kind of nasty asshole takes his greasy chicken eating hands and grabs the ketchup bottle with them without even thinking about wiping them off with a napkin first.
I've come to the point that I can't take it anymore.
I'm just going to start carrying my own bottle of ketchup from the fridge when I go to Smithfields from now on.

Oh, and one time I saw this nasty dude with mechanic hands (black as tar from working on cars all day) stick his thumb over the top of the vinegar bottle and shake it up before pouring it on his BBQ. It still grosses me out to this day when I need to add some vinegar to my BBQ at one of those places.

i go to that smithfield location a lot and their chicken is never as good as old hardees.
