RAWR RAWR RAWR

IM GUESSING THE LATTER

RAWR RAWR RAWR BARACK OBAMA THINKS WHITES CREATED AIDS TO KILL BLACK

hard to make a serious response to such silliness - but yeah - I guess it is completely out of bounds, or RACIST, for an old black man (Wright) to think the government would do something to intentionally harm the black race - even though he's seen this happen time and time again in his lifetime.

Poor Hillary, no matter how hard she tries and no matter which way she turns them, the numbers just don't add up. An article in Slate goes through the twisted arithmetic and the constantly shifting goal line that the Clinton campaign is trying to cross, as well as the ever-moving standard by which they measure success.

Here are some of their arguments and how they have changed along the way:

1. "When Hillary started falling behind in primary delegates, her campaign emphasized her lead in superdelegates, the cigar-chomping party pros of yore who know a thing or two about electability. They gave that up when superdelegates started drifting Obama's way."

2. "Then the Clinton campaign started arguing that you can't nominate for president someone who lacks a popular-vote majority in the primaries. They're starting to give that up because Clinton now has little chance of surpassing Obama in the popular vote." That is, unless you count contests that weren't really contested, and where she was the only name on the ballot.

3. "The Democrats, Clinton now argues, can't afford to nominate someone who can't carry the big, industrial states that matter in the Electoral College. Never mind that, after the 2000 election, Clinton said the Electoral College should be abolished, or that in the midst of an economic recession it's hard to imagine Clinton supporters in hard-hit places like Ohio and Pennsylvania voting for the party in power."

4. "Obama's on the ropes because he spent three times as much as she did and still lost Pennsylvania to her by 10 points. But that's just another way of saying that Obama's campaign is flush and Clinton's is strapped for cash."

So why does the Clinton campaign continue to search in vain for numbers that make their case. Here's the close of the article:

"This isn't arithmecracy. It's arithmetic idolatry—the worship of irrelevant numbers. One can only assume that Clinton has decided the real numbers are too depressing."

She is always a winner in my book, HAHA. Yeah, right. What about the fact that smart Republicans are voting for her just to let the Democratic Party tear each other apart to leave the Stellar Dying McCain to come into office.

terp maybe then you can explain how obama already has the nomination locked up without the 2025 votes and how hillary can't come back and get the nomination

or you can do what you always do and ignore any questions in favor of calling people idiots

this is what was said...what i disputed with the 2025 delegate vote number which neither candidate have reached...i just asked you to explain how obama is so far ahead where hillary cant catch up...but just like clockwork, instead of answering that question:

well you're obviously incapable of answering the question

its a simple question too...let me dumb it down extra dumb for you, and maybe, just maybe, you can actually try to answer the question instead of saying "she cant catch up because she cant catch up"

Why cant Hillary still catch up? And if she can't catch up, why does Barack give a shit about any remaining states? I mean if Hillary is mathematically out of it, why havent the Dems already officially given him the nomination?

you know a lot about politics so i'm sure you'll have no question answering those simple, straightforward questions

she has to win the remaining state by like 66% or so. If he stops compaining, then he will look like a quiter and she might just get that 66%. Duh!!

When its all said and done. neither will have the numbers to get the nomination. so its going to be his argument against hers.

His argument
-i have more delegates
-i have the popular vote
-i have more states won

Her argument
-i won more big states
-im more electable

now which sounds more legit!!!

^^^ Wouldn't a better way to put it be that it's statistically speaking, highly improbable that Hillary will catch up? Or perhaps include the percentages by which she'd have to win in the remaining states in order to get the "magic" 2025 number.

Because without you displaying the actual numbers by which you make your assertion, it's pretty much hearsay.

Although, it is Treetwista.... he might not accept your numbers regardless of how definitive they are.

Although it is TreeTwista blah blah

I watched some coverage after the Penn debate on CNN, CNN Headline News, Fox News, MSNBC, and a few local outlets...none of them said Obama had anything on lock after Hillary won Pennsylvania

but maybe I should instead take the words of TWWers who dont explain themselves!

^^that's why I gave up - talking to Treetwista is like talking to a rock. a dumb internet rock. The numbers have been posted by me and others time and time again for over a month.

^ you said you don't watch Fox News

and yes, I've seen media outlets saying Hillary can't win this race legitimately - and definitely not using any conventional math methods

the numbers have changed over the last month genius

if you were competent enough to explain what you so adamantly claim and supposedly know, instead of just regurgitating shit you hear on a pro-obama website with no further explanation, you might be able to answer a simple question, but instead you choose to just call people dumb

it was impossible back then, given she win Pennsylvania - and that was using a bigger margin of victory than 9%

it was impossible back then? we're talking about right now since back then means nothing...like i said, the numbers change

i'll take the views of political analysts on a half dozen different networks that say hillary is still alive and kicking, over somebody on tww who cant even answer a question without talking about gay sex and calling someone a retard

i dont have to say anything i can just embed src embed src embed src

and from just scanning through it with no sound, it looks like a really professionally done video, i'm sure by a reputable source

hey im sure you can find some youtube videos that "prove" whites invented AIDS too

Nobody denies that injustice was done to the black race in this country in the past.....but shit...get the hell over it by now. And yes, there are still racists in the world and there will always be....but a young, educated black man in our society today has EVERYTHING going for him. It only creates more racial barriers in our society when people like Wright, Jackson, and Sharpton play the victims every chance they get.

Didn't know you can't watch that at work

^ It's easy for both you and I to say "OMG GET OVER IT" because neither of us has been through what they've been through. I wouldn't have the audacity to tell someone who grew up being told by their government they as a race are inferior, had to deal with the Jim Crow era, getting hosed and dogs released on them just because they wanted equal rights, etc... to just GET OVER IT

look, i dont like hillary, i'm not trying to defend her

but people keep saying barack has the nomination down and its only a matter of time...Pennsylvania clearly showed that its not over yet...obviously the remaining states will be key...but when someone tells me its already a lock, a foregone conclusion, that either candidate has won the nomination, i'm quite skeptical, since nothing is set in stone yet...hypothetically if hillary wins the next 2 states, its completely wide open and then theres a great chance that neither candidate gets to 2025...in which case the superdelegates come in...and the political landscape could change a lot in the next couple months

i simply asked for some kind of proof of obama already sewing up the nomination based on all the claims of that, and i didnt get any

She'd have to win all the remaining states by 70% to close the delegate gap (not gonna happen) - and the superdelegates aren't going against the will of the people - so it just isn't going to happen.

Maybe you just didn't understand how much of a lead he has right now.

makes it seem like obama is the favorite, but that neither is going to reach 2025

dont think the clintons will ever give up easily
