I used to get them all the time. I also had some other complications, so I just got my tonsils removed a week ago (still hurts!). Thus, I will never get them ever again!

so maybe i was coughing in my sleep?

biggest one i've ever coughed up. i was on campus and didn't have my camera and the phone camera doesn't have a macro, but you can still see how big it is. over 1/4" in diameter.
