Because no one gives a fuck.

Look, you admit that all politicians do shit like that. So why do you get all riled up when a politician does that? Judge him on his policies and not every little bullshit mistake he makes in front of a camera. You can at least maintain respect for disagreeing with his ideas but when you berate him for being human it makes look petty and lame.

his policies are shit. We simply cannot afford this man. Its that simple.

Im not making him out to be different or the agent of change, he is. And his supporters eat that shit up. He is really just an inexperienced junior senator with no accomplishments. IM not the one that get emotional over any politican. His campaign depends on it.

I mentioned Selma to point out how he has "mispoke" history before. You guys can explain this one away, which might just have been a mistake. Its hard to explain away his Selma speech. But you are right, he appealled to thier emotions too, the facts just dont matter to some.

OB's whole mantra is that he is different.

all of these little, meaningless things suggest that he really isnt any different than all the politicians who whore themselves for votes at any costs.

that hurts the OB supporters deep down, and is why they are getting upset. idealistic bubbles are bursting all over the place.

its cool to laugh and talk shit about the OTHER candidates when they talk about sunnis and shias or snipers, but when OB misspeaks, its no big deal. you have to see the slight hypocracy.

well, see, it would be a big deal if it weren't such a trivial and meaningless mistake.

and then, when compared to Clinton's baldfaced lies and McCain's willful disregard for (or senile inability to grasp) fundamental, life-and-death facts about our current war, the whole thing shows how petty and/or incompetent these people are.

To be quite honest, I don't really care about any of these gaffs from any of the candidates. So none of this bullshit all you right wingers are complaining about applies to me at all.

It's amazing what people are willing to believe in order to continue to think the way that they want too. It's so much worse than ignorance or bigotry, its purposeful self-delusion that only slows the mind and corrupts the soul.

Hillary should just endorse McCain or run as a Indy (tell Obama she will do this unless he picks her as Vice President) She would be very much like Perot....and McCain would win.

I dont know how her supporters are gonna get behind Obama when she is still saying he is unfit to this day....when/if she finally endorses him, a bunch of them will not vote for him and just stay home.

You people seem to forget that the actual election campaigns haven't even begun yet. When the Democrat is actually matched up against McCain, 99% of Democrats are gonna be like, "oh fuck this, we can't possibly let him (McCain) become president." They'll switch over. Use your brains.
