i went about 6 months trying to get a job in my field, and when i couldnt, i went and got a "real job"

I'm surprised Philosophy wasn't higher than #9...thats the perfect example of a cool ass subject to study, but something that doesn't really prepare you for a "real job"

most employers value experience as much (if not more) than a degree.

if you're a com major because you think its easy and you work at sears during college, you're probably fucked.

if you have some internships/experience in the field, you're probably in much better shape.
