I say as commish, that if you see that everyone has said that they are ready to go then you can advance the week, if not then advance it on the designated night.

Any unrealistic play or taking advantage of a glitch in the game will not be tolerated. Cheesing/cheating is not limited to the rules listed below. Use common sense and you will be fine. Basically, any player that doesn't play "real" football and does thing such as taking a fast qb and running every play or rolling out and running in circles until someone is open every play is considered cheesing. Going for it on 4th down all the time, going deep every time, running the option all the time, onside kicking excessively, etc. are common characteristics as well.

Basically, just don't do shit that you know would never be done in real life.

never figured out what we were doing about injuries... I say if players are hurt for the season irl as of the time we start playing then those players need to be out of our game. The same goes for academic stuff/suspensions etc (This will really hurt me as VT has lost a lot of offense)

Since our schedule timeline won't mirror the real season



But on second thought there will injuries that only occur in the game and not irl

so we would have to deal with double the injuries that a real team would...those that happen in the game and the real ones

So a lot of teams could be down several players that way

so maybe we keep them seperate ? I don't know, we'll have to work with this

I just meant if a guy was out irl as of the day we started then they would be out of ours... after that we would ONLY go by our season. And I am all for being able to change starters, fine with me. especially since a lot of teams haven't determined starters yet

So all injuries that have already occured will factor into our game..if a guy tore his acl in the spring game, for example, he's out in our league

but we probably don't want to go in every week and take a player out of our lineups for every ankle sprain, concussion, etc that happens irl

^^ yup... VT definitely has been hit really hard by injuries and graduation (and Ore's dumbass) so as I said it will probably hurt me the most but I would rather is be more realistic and similar to what the actual VT team will have to deal with this year

apparently DT has a set of rosters up. people are saying that it's the rosters pasta had but doesn't have any teams that disappeared. Xbox live gamertag is EArosters com(be sure to enter the space). Also downloaded a copy of it to transfer with my transfer kit in case the one in the locker is screwed.

Hurry Up Offense:

You can use the hurry up offense if there is 2:00 or less left in each half or if you are down during the 4th quarter.

4th Down Rule:

You can only go for it on 4th down if:
It is 4th and 1 or less.
You are losing during the 4th quarter.
You are on or inside your opponents 40.

Padding Stats:

Padding stats is simply unacceptable. You are under NO circumstance permitted to purposely run backwards, or take sacks on purpose. Purposely shanking punts and kick offs so you can get the ball back quicker also falls into this category. If you are caught padding stats and purposely trying to embarrass another gamer, which includes running up the score, you will be warned, and dealt with accordingly.

Onside Kicks:

You may onside kick in the 4rth quarter so long as you are losing. If you are winning, by 1 or 100, under no circumstance are you allowed to onside kick.

You may also onside kick on your last possession in the 2nd quarter, if you are losing, and the opposing team gets possession at the start of the second half.

Onside kicks are not allowed in quarters 1 and 3 in any situation.

Player Substitution:

The only player substitutions will be from the depth chart. The only exception is on your offensive line where any player may be substituted in. Any other substitution must be by position only, so all you lamas out there that just want to run like crazy with a wide receiver at QB are out of luck. Everything else we're just going to keep simple.

Disconnects and Plug Pulling:

Plug Pulling will not be tolerated in this league! If you are ever caught pulling the plug or turning off your Console you will most likely be removed from the league immediately. All games will be replayed and completed in the event of any disconnect. When a disconnect occurs, players can either come up with a solution together on how to finish the game or talk to me and I will come up with a solution myself.

Play books:

You can use any play book you wish defensive or offensive.

Game pausing:

This will not be tolerated. Don't even think about it! One report from a fellow gamer for extensive game pausing and you are gone. No second chances and that's final. You get reported, you get replaced!

Conceding (forfeit, quitting a game):

You cannot forfeit in this league. If you are found forfeiting a game you will be either warned or removed from the league immediately.

just uploaded the DT's roster that I downloaded to my locker(gamertag- ncsuftw). Some players like Geron James, etc aren't on the roster but it's better than nothing.

And running up the score against people you know is lame. There's a difference between throwing deep and scoring when you're up 3 td's and running a conservative offense and scoring.
