My parents are fucking racist assholes though. Which is really weird since my unlce (white) is married to a black woman (Caribbean islander). I remember one time my brother was watching BET and my step-mum walks up and is like "BET? They have their own channel now?". Then my dad comes in and starts dropping the n bomb for no reason. Racism is one of the few things that really piss me off.

I think it's good for our generation to purposely go against the grain when it comes to our parents/grandparents trying to dictate who we can and can not bring home.

Plus, if you never date, hook-up, fool around whatever with someone of a different race...how in the hell would you ever have any first hand knowledge if there was any slightest bit of attraction.

When, I have kids (in another 5-7 years), I will make they appreciate all types/ethnicities/backgrounds. Plus, since we're living in a society that's becoming more of a melting pot...no one has any excuse not to atleast date, hook up, whatever atleast ONCE in their life time with someone of a different race/ethnicity!

I've dated mostly black girls. A few have been asian and white.

It's all about who YOU want to be with, because at the end of the day, that's who you're going to be laying down with when you go to sleep.

^^^ I use a norelco electric (brauns always fucked my shit up). then I put on a nivea calming balm. it helps a lot with the razor bumps. but yeah, you still have to sit there and pick those shits out sometimes (or have someone to do it for you)

also, if you find a good barber, they'll take care of you with their blades, hot towels, and skin tightener

as for my parents' feelings on the interracial dating, it'd be hypocritical of them to have a problem with it consider my dad is black and my mom is korean. my dad has never said anything on the subject, but my mom would really prefer for me to marry a korean. she feels that a korean would make the best wife, and she only wants the best for me. however, she's always joked since i was like 12 years old that myself and one of my older brothers would end up with a white chick. my mom isn't very fond of the japanese, so i think that'd be the only ethnic group my mom would flip out about.
