Actually, I have very easy access to communication with her and we have a decent number of friends in common and I've only talked to her twice since school has started. The night she drove me back when I was drunk (that was only because I had an 8:05 the next day and everyone else was staying out later) and then once just to see what she thought of a class because we're in different sections of the same class. I haven't even really been thinking about her hardly because there's so many other hot girls on campus.

reading the OP was like reading, word for word, a story I would have written about a girl I was wrapped up in my first two years of college. literally, that was insane. the only thing different is mine's not bi (in the true sense) and she's never had an STD that I know of, but who knows. But yeah, everything else is the same, all the way down to leaving town and coming back later on.

being that I'm well over her now, we're REALLY good friends, and I'm probably the perfect person to give you spot-on advice, I still don't have any real pointers for you. At one point I had simply had enough of the (sometimes physically) sickening rollercoaster of elation and heartache, the shit completely hit and destroyed the fan, I swore her off and started dating someone more down to earth that really appreciated me for me. That was invaluable in helping me learn the difference between obsessive infatuation and a deeper love, and once I had chilled out on her we settled into an amazing friendship that I wouldn't change for a thousand klondike bars.
