I got a bottle of the stuff and tried mixing it with sweet tea and it was terrible.

I followed the mixing recipe on the bottle (half vodka, half water, over ice) and it was delicious. Couldn't taste the alcohol at all, just tasted like slightly watered down sweet tea.

^yeah, that's the way to go. I added a healthy splash of lemon juice too. That was good. Then I added a spoonful of sugar, but that just fucked it up.

Stick with the vodka, water, and lemon juice. You don't need too much water either

So are all the ABC stores still sold out? My friend had to drive out to Apex to get some last weekend, but it was good as hell.

Obviously, all the tea flavor comes straight from the vodka (which is brown in color). You can almost drink it straight, but you definitely taste the vodka, so just a splash of water to dull it and you're golden.

I liked both simply lemonade and the 1:1 vodka:water better than mixing it with sweet tea. I'll definitely be picking some more up this weekend for round 2.

We spent last night in Virginia with the in-laws. Josh and I went to the ABC store in Chester and found that they carried it. We brought a bottle back to his parents and had drinks before dinner. Everyone loved it.
