This has ALWAYS annoyed me. I compensate by doing my annual "Go Heels" thread when they play Duke in basketball... BUT I'm doing it in jest for the most part.

Yeah, I like UConn, but they play NC State like 2 times every 15 years. However, Duke is one of NC State's biggest rivals across the board. It's just weird to me that some NC State students also LOVE Duke. It just doesn't make any sense. If this was a UNC thread there would 2 pages of content and 18 pages of flaming.

I understand that kids in NC grew up UNC, Duke or NCSU fans, but I've never seen someone who is a UNC fan and a NC State fan, but I constantly see Duke and NCSU fans. Shit, I think it'd be weird for someone to be a Maryland fan and root for NC State too...

Yeah, I grew up as a Duke fan and went to NCSU where I went to lots of games and had to respect my alma mater. I can't imagine growing up as a UNC fan and becoming a State fan.

Well, for starters the ref that called it wasn't looking at the bench. And Monroe's postgame comments basically confirmed it. I doubt he was lying, but I'm sure you are convinced he is...

No big deal. It's just a regular season game. And the Big East is still better than the ACC...
