i'm not trying to be a bitch, but i feel like the socialism/lazy people argument is what people turn to when they don't actually know what they're talking about. they hear other people say it and the argument (on the face) appears to make sense when you simplify government down to a + b = c. unfortunately, the government, for better or for worse, is a little more complicated. and when you throw the economy into the mix, a + b does not = c. lower taxes don't even always correlate to more spending or a boost in the economy. nothing is that simple no matter how much we want it to be.

and we cannot have our cake and eat it to. we can't complain about poor people and bad education and blah blah blah and then continue to underfund...that just perpetuates the cycle, no? i suppose that is an oversimplification as well but...poverty is a tough cycle to break. and there are things such as prisons, that cost taxpayers more than a little preventative socialistic spending. or whatever.

what cars does he own? i mean, i own 12 vehicles personally but most of them aren't worth shit. maybe he has a lot of family or employees he provides vehicles for? also, are his 7 houses investment/rental properties or homes sitting around for him to use? it's not incredibly hard to believe a man of his age that's made some shrewd deals and keeps renters has amassed that many properties.

i don't know the answers to these questions, but i think they're worth finding out before you bring out the jump to conclusions mat.
