And from that article, we get this number:

Which means not even him directly, but from someone who knows him, etc. This also means over the past 13 years, which includes his State Senate run and his U.S. Senate run.

Hell, if I owned housing projects in a district that a Senator was running in, I'd donate to his campaign as well. It had nothing to do with him being corrupt, it had to do with donating to the politician who works in the area that you own your businesses and equity.

And your "1.3 million dollar house" comment is a complete lie:
