I'm an alum and just signed up. I get my emails forwarded. Currently I'm parked in Myrtle Beach just sitting around energizing. We need way more players than we currently have. Duke has 210 players to our 157. Also Boston College has 184 and Miami has 177.

Perhaps a Facebook group or even some advertisement in the Free Expression Tunnel would go a long way in getting most of campus onto this.

Good Morning People

First off, if you join now, start at NCSU or Rocky Mount. Ignore the posted orders for now, they havnt been updated fully.

If you joined yesterday and hadnt checked since midnight, we took Rocky Mount. Lots of stuff going on about BC being in leauge with Miami and us holding the Barrier Islands. Please check in and energize.

Standing orders now is hold and defend and rest up this round.

I haven't joined yet (trying to figure out an alumni account), but don't you think it is a bit of a bad idea to discuss strategy here after announcing in the gocross game chat that TWW was the reason you got so many new members? That's just begging one of the toolbags from BC or Duke to come here on an espionage mission looking for info. I'd advise taking the discussion to a more private place or coordinate via PM or something. Btw, I am going to join eventually, what is the next steps after resting? My first tactic would to be to do something about the 2 unconnected territories. You guys should have taken back Wilmington instead of taking Rocky Mount. I'd also hit Augusta (and by default Greenwood after that but don't leave energy there) and hope that the Miami folks seize on the territories. The energy bonuses are very important, so having a large connected territory empire and breaking off pieces of the other schools empire is smart strategy. Also, taking territories each turn is important as well for the energy bonus. Before all that I suppose, someone needs to figure out if BC is in bed with UM, and if so, some alliances of our own should be formed in the short term to break theirs up.
