and I like how someone pointed out that Dunn only has one 100 yd game which was against the Panthers. This further shows how the Bucs will beat the Panthers in 3.5 weeks and take control of the division

Look I mean yea I hate the Panthers, but I call it how it is. Early in the season I had them going deep in playoffs but the more I watch them and the more I paid attention to their schedule, the more I figured out that this is not a playoff caliber team but instead a product of an easier schedule, which no one is to blame for. WHen ATL wins this coming week, we will all see. SOme will be angry, some dissappointed, some may even cry, best believe Imma be right back here next week saying, "I told your asses so"

I remember the last time the Panthers faced Cadillac Williams...we nearly ended his career

btw the FACT that 90% of teams who start 7-2 have made the playoffs...and the fact that the Panthers are 8-2...that doesn't lead you to believe the Panthers probably make the playoffs?

you're just mad because Bob Johnson isn't in heat over insider trading, aren't ya

Yea thats a compelling stat, but this is a wierd year. Giants and Cards are locks to make it in. We dont have to worry about anyone in the West getting the WC. Now the North is 3 games behind Carolina and with a game coming up at GB in which GB will win, that give the tiebreak to both Min and GB. But Honestly, I dont think we have to worry about Min because they arent that strong. I still think Bears win that division and Pack has a 10-6 record, tied with Panthers, beating them. now but their is another WC spot left. I dont think we have to worry about ATL or the Saints. The Cowboys are back and they are surprisingly only 2 games back. THey play SF, Sea, Bal, and PHI which i see all being wins. This would tie them with the Panthers and it will come down to those 2 teams for the WC. Also throw the Skins in their who are a real possibility to go 11-5. It is early but I think the competition is too strong for Carolina

If you think the wildcards are coming out of the West or North, you're wrong

You cannot convince me that aside from the Cards, and probably Packers, the other 4 teams aren't:

Panthers
Tampa
NYG
WAS/DAL

Thats what the odds say, thats what will most likely happen, thats what the current facts of the season would lead most people to believe...so basically, your argument isn't convincing, its just rooted in your hatred of the Panthers, and your love of Chris Simms' spleen

btw, just like any NFL team, the Bucs should beat the Lions and Raiders, like the Panthers did...those should be 2 wins for the Bucs...but if they should lose one of those games...you will hear about it...a lot

Or maybe your inability to see what Im saying is embedded in your biased and unpractical love for the Panthers.. And when did odds start to mean something in reality. Odds are math, a numbers prediction, Numbers dont think about the upcoming schedule and the past performances.

minn, gb and chi are all 5-5. If one of them were to win the wild card, @ 10-6, that means 2 of them only lose 1 game each the rest of the season...no way.

^^your entire thread premise is impractical

I throw out the 90% stat, which is about the most practical thing in this thread, and your counter argument is "its a weird season"

Quote :
"Odds are math, a numbers prediction"

this thread is one big prediction, based on your jealousy of the Panthers 8-2 record

^good point...its mathematically impossible to have 2 teams in the North with 10-6 records based on common opponents...its either gonna be 2 from the east, 2 from the south, or what i believe, which is 1 from the east and 1 from the south

1) who really thought that the Steelers would win the SB 3 years ago?
2) Who really thought the Steelers would MAKE PLAYOFFS 3 years ago?

Check the odds on that

the only reality is that we have played 10 games and won 8 of them...your predictions dont hold any more weight than the 90% stat

^what does 3 years ago have to do with anything? its 2008 and the Panthers are 8-2, and undefeated at home...are the Steelers going to keep the Panthers out of the playoffs?

Numbers can be used to predict the future iff you use the right numbers. The rushing numbers can be used to predict Carolina winning at least 4 more games with 90% accuracy

if you're so cocksure about your predictions then take that shit to a gambling site.

you determine a winner by playing the damn game. none of the horrendous shit you're spewing out of your insignificant, pea-brain means anything. at all.

What does it mean????? It means that odds dont mean shit and that what a team truly is and the obstacles in its way mean way more.

^^the odds dont mean shit, neither do any of your predictions

all that matters is what happens on the field...not WHAT YOU PREDICT will happen on the field, but what ACTUALLY HAPPENS

all that has actually happened is the Panthers are 8-2...nothing you can say will change their NFC South leading record

i didnt know you were so jealous of the panthers hova...i knew you didnt like them because you're a bucs fan for some dumb reason, but i didnt know you were so jealous

i wouldnt be the least bit surprised if tampa won the south...but you lost all hope of being rational when you starting spouting that NFC North wildcard shit

if the panthers dont make the playoffs, its because the bucs win the south and the east gets 2 wildcard teams...that is the only possible scenario

Try to prove you wrong?

There's nothing here that will be disproved by anything but the games themselves (which they will).

You're just making outlandish statements looking for an e-fight.

Of course not, but you can throw some reasons at me for believing that they will beat ATL, TB, NYG, or GB. I've thrown many facts out there that show why one could believe the Panthers will not make playoffs. Try doing that big guy

Not always. Are you using future conditions to predict? If so you're an idiot, because you're predicting conditions to base a prediction on. Based on current conditions, the Panthers match up very favorably against 4 remaining opponents, fairly neutral against one opponent, and unfavorably against one.

There's really no reason to argue with you, I don't understand why people are doing it.

It would be much more satisfying when they do make the playoffs if you were just wallowing in your own shit in this thread.

Ok but then look how good the defenses are as well. Some of those numbers are inflated like I said before like GB, they are so good against the pass that teams are forced to run against them and it inflates the rushing numbers.
