Fantasy Football was a huge let down this year. Started off great, then lost 5 in a row. The past 2 weeks I have been the highest scorer in the league by far, but it's already over for me. Fucking Eagles.

see as much as i can be cheap with myself, i can't be cheap with others. because my favorite part of christmas is buying stuff for other people. i mean sometimes i CAN find really good prices, but my goal isn't to come in on some sort of budget (i mean i'm not going to over do it, but i don't really set a goal other than $30-$50 a person). last year i got a lot of cookbooks for my mom on clearance at barnes and noble. and they were hardback nice ones with purrrrtty big glossy pictures. they were like $4 each.

but i didn't try to find that. but i do like when stuff like that happens.

I was called out on my pirate dobloon shoes- yes I did like those- but I generaly don't like shoes.

any ways my sister spends w/o looking at the tag all the time, like crazy.

she told me she couldn't give me a big xmass present this year cause they were strapped for $ with thier addition to the house. but she had bought a $250 shirt as saks, and probably spent over a 1k there on clothes.

she spent ~3k a month on clothes in college

my ex insisted on having all of her maintenance performed at the BMW dealership

they hit her for like 4000$ one time for a fairly minor repair

she saw nothing wrong with that

yeah i feel pretty fucking retarded that my playoff chances depend on the fucking texans tonight.

well in one league (12x$150).. that one pays top 4 (make the playoffs, make the $. 4th is your buyin back). If owen daniels gets shutout tonight I think i'm pretty toast for the playoffs... but 1 week left.... on the bubble though.

locked in the playoffs for another and if andre johnson goes huge tonight i'll get a first round bye...

that's the big $ one, final 2 get paid.

this one was $100 with $2/transaction (so a drop/add is $4)

the pot for that is getting large with transactional costs.

I'd like to win both for like 3 grips

target used to be the death of me

i still come out of there every time with SOME unnecessary item, but i try to limit it to like a really cool sponge or new cat treats. instead of buying like 5 movies i've never seen or a new piece of furniture or like 19 throw pillows.

yeah, my league is a $600 pay out for the winner, and we pay out 4 spots as well. I didn't do the big money league this year because it started around the time my engine blew so I had to drop $2400 getting that replaced.

I can't even imagine having half that much money to spend and some people can spend that without blinking an eye. No wonder the country has such a fucked up perception of money.

that league with the transaction costs, i've skirted injuries, and am at like ~$50 on the year..

You must be kidding me. Family Guy sucks. There are no jokes, just stupid references and dead time. I have no idea why people watch the show. The south park episode that made fun of the Family Guy hit it right on the head

Buying family guy on DVD should fall under the category

It's really hard for me to believe that anyone's parents would foot the bill for a $3000 a month clothing habit.

She couldn't have spent that much.

It's not hard for me to believe that girls spent that much. I am friends with quite a few that did that in college. Mom & Dad got them a credit card with their name on it, and game was over.

I never did credit cards besides emergencies in college. I still don't like them too much. I buy with $ I have and not with what I don't have.

like now. I am tighter on cash b/c don't have a job.

I had a co-worker who would buy complete lines of clothes from certain designers every season. I mean, the designer would come out with his fall line and she would buy one of everything. Repeat for Winter, Spring, and Summer. She told me they could have bought their house 10 years earlier if she hadn't spent so much money.

I did. Then I turned it off because I was so freakin disgusted with whoever it was crying because they didn't get the exact make and model of car they wanted.

I have met a number of girls who have a taste for expensive things. I have never once had them buy me anything worth a damn though.

I usually get some sentimental gift like a home made card or 6 pack of assorted beer from Harris Teeter.

I do have a bad habit that I can't wear an item more than once or twice. It does not make sense but it does to me. I don't like to see pictures with repeat things. I dunno Its odd and there is no logic.

but i don't drop texas $ on clothes. lol.

my gf always spends texas on me, even though i really don't want (or deserve) it. sucks, because i then feel compelled to spend what i know she would for me on xmas, birthday, anniversary, etc...

probably amounts to a grand a year.
