uh, the lack of rules/regulation was probably out of the ordinary
for the most part you could only get suspended for bringing a weapon to school or fighting (something about conflict resolution and coming to consensus or some quaker stuff idk)
called teachers by first name
uh you could take independent classes
there were couches instead of desks in pretty much every room.

if you did the work to get it organized you could do anything you wanted.
