the good thing is the giants are backing their way into the playoffs,
the ones we have to watch out for are still tampa bay, atlanta, and dallas
im not even worried about anyone in the AFC

Could the biggest game of the year thus far possibly be a snow game? I hope so, that would be fucking awesome.

if its snowy i see maybe more jonathan stewart than deangelo williams, gonna need straight-up power otherwise the quick cuts might turn into slips and falls and a bunch of rushes for 1 yd or less

one of the greatest Panthers snow games I remember was the 1996 NFC Championship in Green Bay

I hope this game goes better than that one

realistically, would a snow game hurt our chances at a W?

So we may need Rivers to play phenomenal and bail us out this weekend. Sounds familiar.

Though he needs to roll anyways and pray that Denver decides to fold again.

there was a game against Pittsburgh in 98 or 99, the buerlein era where it snowed like hell. the panthers had to win to keep their playoff hopes alive and didn't. They had to get out the blowers to blow off the goal lines in the second half.

"Defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu practiced on a limited basis Friday, the first time this week's he's tested his injured right ankle. Kemoeatu, who hurt the ankle last week in a victory against Denver, is listed as questionable for Sunday's important game against the New York Giants.

Coach John Fox again wouldn't get into specifics on Kemoeatu's injury or his status for Sunday, except that he hadn't ruled him out from playing.

"No, I mentioned that earlier in the week," Fox said. "We've taken it one day at a time (with Kemoeatu), now he's questionable."

Offensive guard Keydrick Vincent (groin) again didn't practice and is doubtful for Sunday. Jon Beason, who missed Thursday's practice due to illness, was back Friday and is probable.

Defensive tackle Gary Gibson (hand) is questionable. Defensive end Hilee Taylor (calf) is doubtful and receiver Kenneth Moore (hamstring) is out. -- David Scott"

"Offensive guard Keydrick Vincent, who hurt his groin late in last week's victory against Denver, won't play Sunday against the Giants. Vincent had had been listed as doubtful for the Giants earlier Friday, but the Panthers downgraded his status Friday afternoon.

Vincent's place will likely be taken by Jeremy Bridges.

The Panthers' offensive line has been hit by injuries this season, with each starter now missing at least one game. But the unit's depth -- with players like Bridges and Geoff Hangartner stepping in -- has made up for it and the offense hasn't suffered because of the injury problems."

"Dallas (9-6) lost for the second time in three weeks. While they can still get an NFC wild-card berth, this loss makes it tougher. They actually had several ways to clinch Sunday if they could've won this game. Now they'll go to Philadelphia next Sunday needing a win and, perhaps, some help. Dallas' loss clinched a playoff spot for the Carolina Panthers."

Panthers in the playoffs!!! Now we win and I get 1 possibly 2 games in January to go to and have fun in uptown. Lose and win next week and I get 1 maybe 2 also. How sweet would it be to have the NFC Championship game in Charlotte? If we lose I am sure we would want to make it back to NY for revenge. GO PANTHERS!

Panther's +4, this has to mean Big Beas and Keamtou aren't playing????? Seems like an easy cover in the rain where running games dominate....?

So with Atlanta winning we still don't have a home game as of now, but if we win tonight then obviously we would have a game January 10th or 11th at home and then possibly the 18th, if we don't win tonight and the falcons lose next week or we win against NO then we would play for sure January 10th or 11th and maybe the 18th if the Giants got upset. Either way I wanted to ask you out there who own season tickets how much they have charged for the divisional round and the nfc championship game. I am 100% positive now it is either 1, 2 or 5 seed. So we wouldn't have a home game the 3rd/4th. Now that I got my dates straight someone let me know what you paid, or what you have found etc. If you know ANYONE selling contact me thank you and GO PANTHERS!!!
