the show said that he broke his back in a work-related accident 8 years ago, which was after we graduated highschool, and he's been addicted to morphine ever since. i remember seeing Tifani at NCSU during our freshman year, but after that i didn't see her. so i wasn't friends with her when all this shit started happening. in fact i'm pretty sure that only her closest friends would know about this kinda thing. still...national TV. dag

Also, it was really amazing that her dad lost over $600k to fucking Nigerian email scams. I mean come on. It shocks me how people can fall for those so easily. Granted he was blitzed out of his mind at the time, but still. $600k just mailed over seas to strangers he only talked to on the phone. Wow.

i'm at the point where i think a lot of these folks want the help but they can't afford the super nice rehab facilities, so they appeal to Intervention to do the show about them so they can get rehab paid for.

the first season of this show was the best IMO, because the show wasn't well known. now that the show is on A&E 5 nights a week and everyone has heard of it, it's rather difficult to play it off as "a documentary about addiction". i'm fairly certain most of these people know what they're getting into when they sign up for it.

although a few of the people have mentioned seeing the show or thinking they were on the show, i doubt most hardcore addicts are sitting around watching a&e, just my guess.


also, this weeks chick, during the intervention i think she had fluid coming out of every part of her head, sweating, crying, snotting, looked like someone had tosser a bucket of water in her face. and yea, cutting, puking (bulimia kind, not alcohol/drugs kinds) and needles are always the worst for me.

Wait, I take that back. She is below computer duster girl. Nobody will ever top that one. So yeah, if computer duster girl is left out, because she is just far and away on top, then Cristy is #1.

God, I wish I could go back and watch computer duster girl for the first time. That was a great hour of fun.
