Felt like a damn NCSU sports history museum with all the huge pictures from our best teams and coaches, the huge pic of CF at night is cool too

Watching a basketball game on ESPN2 for 15 minutes while eating my burgers and pies was quite an improvement, if only the food had changed to match the atmosphere

And you seem to be so concerned about urban forestry, yet you are ignorant of other aspects of urban management. For example, the McDonald's at issue has become a de facto--or perhaps de jure--anchor tenant that will no doubt encourage investment in the area.

In any event, McDonald's is doing well in a challenging economic environment.

You know McDonalds do really well in matching their enviroment around them I guess...like the one in Asheville. And if you watch the travel channel you can see 9 others that do it too.


I took the girls I babysit there last friday after we went to the museum it was my first time going inside it too, and they loved it, they thought it was so cool. I had to sit there and explain to them who all the people were in the mural

A while back McDonald's converted the old movie theater on Hillsborough. It had a couple large screen TVs (for the time). Went out of business, remained vacant for years, last I saw it was a bookstore.
