wow..Brawn GP is really strong..
It looks Barrichello is sick of the team putting Button ahead of him.

Ferrari..VERY disappointing.
I don't understand why Massa was running out of fuel in the last 10 laps. How is it possible? Ferrari didn't know how much fuel they needed to fill up at the last pitstop?

Comments on Raikkonen?
COME BACK PLZ.

The fueling equipment didn't flow properly in the last pit stop. They didn't realize this until they went to measure after massa left the pits.

Besides Ferrari not being fully competitive power/handling-wise their race management is fucking bush league

Looks like Ross Brawn had a ton to do with their success

from what I saw, it was part of their strategy that backfired from a miscalculation in fuel consumption. Funny hearing the communication between the pit and Massa. One side saying use less fuel and Massa arguing back wondering how he's supposed to do that and fight for 4th. haha

the major constructors might be breaking off and forming a new series because of all the mess with trying to figure out terms with the governing body (FIA) for the 2010 season.

My damn roommate is switching us over from Direct TV to AT&T UVerse (a good thing). But, he claimed to not know when the Direct TV contract ended. It ended Friday. So that means the last two F1 races that I had DVR'd are now lost.

Jerk!

And I know they were on weeks ago, but I've been away a lot and haven't had time to watch them (though I had planned to do it Sunday!)

GD it!

Massa Had surgery. He is stable now. It is possible that Massa will be out for the rest of the season.

Renault suspended from the European GP

Quote :
"Renault has been banned, subject to appeal, from the forthcoming European Grand Prix after the team permitted pole-sitter Fernando Alonso to exit the pits with his R29 challenger allegedly unsafe for competition.
Stewards summoned officials for the Anglo-French team to race control following the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest because Alonso's right front right wheel was incorrectly fitted and departed the car following his first pit stop - with obvious safety implications.
They said video and radio transmissions were studied, and found that Renault "knowingly" allowed the Spanish driver to rejoin the race with a loose wheel nut.
The FIA officials also charged Renault with failing to inform Alonso of the problem "even though the driver contacted the team by radio believing he had a puncture".
"This resulted in a heavy car part (the aerodynamic wheel cover) detaching ...
and the wheel itself detaching at turn nine," the stewards' report added.
Renault has been suspended from the next Grand Prix at Valencia and "reminded of (its) right of appeal".
Stewards meanwhile took no action against Kimi Raikkonen for colliding with both Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel at the start for what was at best a racing incident, but reprimanded Mark Webber's Red Bull team for unsafely releasing the Australian from his first pitstop. "

i think they went overboard with suspending renault. if they were upset at the team for letting the car go when they knew a wheel wasn't on correctly, they should dock constructor points or fine them or seomthing. but banning alonso from his home gp in valencia is too far. especially since he's most of the reason they have an f1 race their to begin with.

I'm not sure if I heard correctly but didn't Michael Schumacher say that if Ferrari asked him to he would take Massa's place while he's out?
