Kim is a dumbass. She released the tape of Kanye's conversation with Taylor, promptly proving Taylor's point that he never told her that the lyrics included "I made that bitch famous." He conveniently left that part out. So I'm not sure exactly how they think they "exposed" her.

^Think the problem was that her PR team was quoted saying Kanye never called her for permission about a song, and instead had called just to see if she would advertise his song on her twitter and she claimed she denied that request as she didn't agree with the "misogynistic" lyrics.

So Kim showed proof that her PR team blatantly lied. Had her team come out and said "yeah he told us part of the lyrics but not the second part", then she'd be fine, but just more lies from her. Couple that with the lies about how she didn't cheat on Calvin Harris(apparently she did) and the whole Katy Perry lies she told(about "Bad Blood" not being about her when in fact Harris confirmed it was), just really makes Taylor Swift to seem extremely fake.

It's all about PR, and right now Swift is trending in the wrong direction for probably the first time in her career. I fully expect a new album about this on how she's a victim.

Kanye and Kim doesn't just record celebs for no reason. Kanye has a documentary crew roll around him during the making of all of his albums and records everything. He's shown a ton of footage from it, and this was another instance of it.

Plus if you're getting consent from someone and you have a feeling they're going to try and lie/discredit you later(when Taylor is apparently known for this in the industry), then why not record it to cover your own ass later when she tries to shit on you?

If her team claims she didn't clear the song as a whole, then that seems accurate at this point, as the only video released has her clearing a single line of it.

I also don't see how recording her phone conversation without her consent then releasing it is being a "good dude"

well i think the claim all along has been simply that she never approved of the song/lyric, not necessarily only a portion of it or anything like that. maybe that is being walked back now, but it seemed originally there was never any "she didn't hear that lyric" it was "she didn't hear anything about this prior to its release".

and as far as the video being released, i think it's fair game in a he said/she situation like this. if, unprovoked, they released it then i think that'd be questionable for sure. but i don't think it's that bad. hell, didn't taylor swift even say "if there's a video of me agreeing to this, why don't you release it?"
