Sounds like you might have some minor irritation, possibly some broken blood vessels (though if you haven't done any serious coughing, sneezing, or vomiting, I don't know how you'd have managed that.) It will likely go away in about 15-20 minutes.

Do you wear contacts?

Apparently if it's a subconjunctival hemorrhage (broken blood vessel) it can take a while for it to go away. I just know when I've had them they go away pretty quickly.

this is about an injury i sustained yesterday cause i had nowhere else to post about it.

my dog was chewing her bone on me as usual and it was really annoying so i was going to take it and throw it on the floor but somehow my finger got caught in the rawhide in her mouth which she closed and my finger got crunched.

it bled a lot and she got yelled at. the pictures aren't really good. it is very bruised and bruised all under my finger nail. SIGH.

I remember one of the neuroradiology fellows at Wake saying one time that he saw more brain tumors in a month working in NC than four years of residency elsewhere.

Turns out he may have had a point:

Yeah she's a former TWWer. Had bad migraines for years, just sorta kept getting less well then one day lost vision on one side and passed out. Finally got the proper imaging and they found a golf ball sized tumor.

i lied i wasn't cured

my headache got worse and worse all night into this morning and i was just able to move out of bed like 20 minutes ago. and it STILL hurts to move my eyes (especially my left eye) but its a lot better than it was. i have been in bed since 7am just in agony and drenched in sweat.

worst. headache. ever.

and it isn't 100% gone. i just feel like i can maybe drink some water now.

ugh i've had this lump in my throat / tight throat feeling for like 2 hours and it REALLY hurts. like its feels tight like it does when you cry or get stressed but i'm not crying or stressed (well now i'm stressed cause it won't go away).

i'm scared i have either acid reflux (in which case the acid reducer i took will help) OR Epiglottitis in which case i'm going to suffocate in my sleep

WHAT DO I DOOOOOOOO. it hurtsssss. it hurt ever since i was snacking on pretzel sticks and took my medicine.

and i'm all burpy and i'm not having trouble breathing (YET) which leads me to believe that it is just acid reflux and NOT epiglottitis but what if it is and i die in my sleep.

ughhhhhhhhh.

it could be thyroid cancer though. but the sudden onset of symptoms is steering me towards acid reflux (i am already feeling better since i've been sitting up straight v. lying down in bed reading) or epiglottitis.

and then once i read about epiglottitis i was like oh shit and i have anxiety so i started freaking out and that only made my throat worse so its been difficult to really tell

i also did a lot of singing today really loud during the car ride home so maybe my voice box is just strained.
