I had to go for the trim. I went ahead and took it down to about 1/4 inch. Beard hair kept getting in my mouth when I was trying to eat. It was also curling up into my ears.

This was 3-4 weeks ago. It still hasn't been trimmed at all. I'm now into uncharted territory with my beard (and how it can affect my job) so I asked my boss when/if it was getting to be an issue. He said as long as I wouldn't get stopped in an airport then I should be fine.



I also picked up some moustache wax at the pharmacy earlier while I was getting some prescriptions filled. I'll report back.

this is no shave from nov 2-dec 26th. My beard doesnt seem to get much bushier as time goes on for some reason, it kinda evens out and just grows slightly longer. Its now Jan 15th, and it pretty much looks the same. And yes, i do get called "redbeard" quite a bit

Nah, I don't pick it out or anything. I don't really do anything to it.
It was just some $2.50 moustache wax from Rite Aid. I've yet to try it out and see how ridiculous I look with a curled up stache.

I had to do a little trim yesterday. I got my haircut and it just looked awful going from clean haircut to scraggly beard. So i took my awesome beard trimmer and did some shaping up to it. I went about one guard too short around my jawline goatee area, but it'll all grow back. It's just hair.

I'm currently in uncharted territory for myself. I haven't shaved since Jan 4th, and other than shaving my neck I'm just letting it do its thing. Pic will be posted later. And to be honest I think I liked the look better when it was just a 5 day stubble growth.

At the least I'm gonna let it go on till my ski trip end of the month. Whether I keep it trimmed pretty short or not during this time is another issue altogether.

I have hooked up with two girls who didn't like my facial hair. My current girlfriend, and my last two girlfriends, liked/preferred facial hair. I always ask the girl because I'm always 50/50 on whether or not I want to shave. Since I don't give a shit, I usually let the girl decide.

yeah, i've had girls who didn't prefer facial hair on me, but only because of the look not the way it feels. Plus the longer, and thicker they are the softer they are (ibt that's what she said)


I just get frustrated with mine because my cheeks and stuff while they grow in full don't get thicker or bushier. That only happens down around my chin area and underneath the jawline. So it never gets super bushed like d7's ^at the top of the page (for visual reference)

Yeah...I'm lucky in that my beard comes in even all around. And I think it stops at the perfect spot on my face...mid-cheek, about two inches from my eyes. A guy I work with has facial hair that goes right up to his eyes...shit is crazy.
