that vid really makes me cringe and I'm glad they're not going to show it...no woman should ever be punched in the face by a man, unless she hit him first with a baseball bat to the face

she certainly did not deserve that

Quote :
"Ferro, a gym teacher at North Queens Community HS, was initially told to lay off the booze by bouncers at the popular resort bar because he seemed too drunk, Seaside Heights Det. Steve Korman told The Post.
Ferro managed to stay inside the bar and eventually swiped booze belonging to Snooki and her entourage that had been placed on the bar top.
"That started a verbal altercation after which he struck her in the face," said Korman. "She sustained an injury to the inside of her mouth due to the punch."
In fact, the video shows Ferro suddenly walloping Snooki in the jaw — sending the 21-year-old beauty’s head reeling backward.
"Maybe he had a little too much to drink, but hitting a woman is a bit much," said Ginny Tanawots, a neighbor of the Ferro family "There’s got to be a different way around it — I don’t care what she did."
Ferro was arrested on charges of assault and disorderly conduct shortly after 2 a.m. on Aug. 19
Education Dept. officials said they hadn’t been informed about his arrest earlier because it occurred out of state.""

So he was stealing drinks.

Snooki, The Situation, and DJ Pauly were on Jay Leno last night for a trivia game of "things you should know"

Leno: Who is this?

Snooki: The Vice President
Leno: But what's his name?
Snooki: Krohn?
Leno: Krohn from the planet Zoltan!
Snooki: Well, I know it starts with a K
Leno: Pauly, do you know?
DJ Pauly: Nah I'm not good w/ History
Leno: *face palm* Mike?
The Situation: Ahhhh...
Leno: I'll give you a hint, his last name is Biden
The Situation and Snooki: Joe!

It disgusts me that the guy would ever do anything like that BUT I am soooo happy he was caught doing it on national TV.

He will never be able to get another teaching job
He will probably have problems getting into a relationship now (at least I hope he does)
He will now always be known as this woman beating guido

What a fucking dickhead

Lol, all those guys are such pussies.
Why didn't they stomp that dude into the ground?
We re-played it about four times and they all waited until the cops had that dude in restraint before they bucked up.
His own boy was the only one who snatched him up like he wasn't afraid of him.

I knew Snookie was going to ham it up for the cameras though and I was totally right.

Sometimes I think that Samwise thinks it hurts more if a woman gets punched in the face than if a man gets punched in the face. She makes such a big deal out of it. I'm pretty sure we all have about the same amount of nerve endings in our face and they're all about the same sensitivity. We've all been punched in the face. It's alright girl. He'll get sentenced and everything. Just chill.

^ Really?

1. I know he's going to get charged, you don't assault a female on national TV and just get off.
2. I honestly don't even know where you get your first claim from. Obviously you haven't paid much attention to a lot of my posts concerning DV and assault because I think men should have the same treatment women do concerning the issue. Had she punched him (not out of self defense or anything) I would expect her to get charged with assault.
3. If you seriously don't see the severity of this I feel sorry for you. He cold-cocked her over something petty and stupid. Can you even imagine what he would be like behind closed doors?

He shouldn't have done it, he deserved to get his ass thoroughly beat for it, and he deserves legal repercussions; but you seriously demonize any man who commits an offense against a woman like he just ate a bunch of babies or something.

Permanent ruination of his career and future relationships; really? Ever hear of "doing your time" or "paying for your crime"? I'd bet Snookie moves on from this incident long before you do.

I think this is the worst part:

I see what you're getting at, shack, and I'm on board.

but the dude is a tool anyway. Watch the minute or two before the punch goes down. He makes this retarded face like he came in his pants while he is stealing their shots. Then he tells everyone to 'shut the fuck up' like a tough guy. I kinda feel bad for this guy. I mean he's a gym teacher with a room temperature IQ.

And it said if you're being abused by your boyfriend, et al. Violence is violence, and while I obviously believe that men shouldn't be beating on women, it carries over to anyone beating on anyone.

""What happened to Snooki was a crime and obviously extremely disturbing," MTV said in a written statement. "After hearing from our viewers, further consulting with experts on the issue of violence, and seeing how the video footage has been taken out of context not to show the severity of this act or resulting consequences, MTV has decided not to air Snooki being physically punched in the face."

"

So this was the reason? That's pretty weak...

How about all the times that MTV has aired punchings between men resulting in a bloody mess...or how about the fact that MTV airs people shooting up heroin or snorting coke? It's a crime isn't it?

Why do women require special needs? The decision must be from Womens' rights groups.

Yeah, it's pretty lame to take the moral high ground after you've already used the video for promotion and it is readily available on Youtube.

It's because women aren't smart enough to figure it out on their own when they're being abused. They need someone to hold their hand and explain it to them.

I do not demonize every man who commits an offense against a woman. While I'm passionate about domestic violence (and sexual assault) I do not shun every man who has abused a woman - if I did that, I would have to cut some key people out of my life entirely. However, I feel like if you do something this stupid then yes, you should pay the price for it and it should have to follow you. The guy was a school teacher for cryin' out loud and he flew off the handle that fast over something completely petty. If he is so quick to haul off and cold-cock some random girl in a public place for her calling him ugly I really don't think he should be in such a position and I think others are going to feel the same way.

Which brings me into the explanation of my comment "Can you imagine what he would be like behind closed doors"... If he is so quick to do something like this in a public place (like I just said), it honestly worries me about how he would react in the privacy of his own home with no one else watching.

Oh, and I forgot to mention something... When you first responded with "we all have the same amount of nerve endings" statement -- please don't even try to act like it would hurt him just as much as he hurt her if she had done the punching. The girl is not a very big person and he was not a small guy.

I do agree with this though and this:

"And it said if you're being abused by your boyfriend, et al. Violence is violence, and while I obviously believe that men shouldn't be beating on women, it carries over to anyone beating on anyone."

One more thing....

Actually, he didn't. If that was the case, there wouldn't be so many women voluntarily choosing to leave their abusers. Not to mention, there are plenty of men that stay with abusive women who don't get any help. Oh, and I wasn't trying to bring the lol's so I really don't see why that was mentioned.

I thought it was hilarious that they had the PSA about "violence OF ANY FORM against women is a crime" right before the last break, and then in the preview clips for next week, they show j-woww getting in a fight with some chick and punching at her. It only took them about 45 seconds to be hypocritical.

I honestly can not believe this garbage was even made into a show. At first i thought it was a joke reality TV show mocking the real world or something. Then my opinion of today's youth and MTV sunk to a knew low when i realized it was completely serious.....

The last thing this country needs is some tv show acting as role models for teenage chicks and adolescent males looking up to these Guido Joisey douche bags.

i suppose mtv should have a reality show where 6 grad students go to MIT to get their doctorates?

hahhahahaha i loved that part. when snooki was like, "it wasn't R&B music, it was HOUSE music" i died.

i grew up in Jersey and was at the Jersey Shore this summer. i visited my friend Brad and he worked in one of those tshirt shops over the summer and basically everyone who worked on the boardwalk was either Israeli or Russian. ALL the girls had summer VISAs from Russia and no, unfortunately, they were not the hot Russian girls that you would think. but they are hysterical and i really hope the Jersey Shore crew run into them at some point because they are everywhere.
