The presentation isn't as good as it could be because they wouldn't let us set up in the press box yesterday, so I couldn't hardly see to add in stats and replays while the sun was still up, plus I was kind of still setting up during the first two innings. Commentator wasn't really on his game either cause of the change, and we had a lot of team members and coaches around us so that was distracting too.

Really hope we win tomorrow. Against Miami our rally fell short, we had a ridiculous rally in the middle game and then got shut out in the 3rd. Then against UVA we rallied in the first game, and Mazzoni fell apart tonight (tie game 3-3 with 2 outs and no one on in the 6th was when UVA rallied for 3 runs). Our offense has been great all year, but always seems to come alive when we're down late in the game. I really wish we could just get a lead and build it.

PACK takes Game 2 from UNC 14-6 to even the series. Ciencin hits a grad slam and the UNC bullpen dies like it has the whole year. Hopefully the Pack can start tomorrow on a good note and make UNC go to it's bullpen as early as possible.

That UNC series really hurt. UNC isn't good this year, but like it has all year our pitching let us down. Also there were some questionable coaching moves with leaving pitchers in way too long. That first game was awful with 5 or 6 errors and 12 walks allowed and then the 3rd game had us up 1 in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs and no one on and UNC got 5 runs after that. Hopefully they can get right with some wins coming up.

Great series for the Pack. Complete games from Jake and Cory on Fri/Sat and the bats really came alive today. Wednesday the Pack travels to Greenville for the lone game against ECU this year and then a home ACC series with BC.

Just got back from Greenville. Any win is a good win. This one was ugly; both teams had several errors, but in the end the Pack made the clutch hits and got the big outs. BIG series this weekend with BC. We are currently tied with BC and VT for 6th-7th-8th seed for the ACC Tourney. Since we don't play VT this year, we need to get the tiebreaker against BC.

Yeah, both teams had 6 errors. Only one of ECU's runs was earned. I though this was interesting from the write up of the game on ECU's website.

Lost again last night on the heels of getting embarrassingly swept at home this past weekend by Boston fucking College. Season is over. New chancellor was supposed to be at one of the BC games last weekend. Hopefully what he saw makes him more inclined to fire Fowler's ass.

Also now that baseball is basically done with any realistic postseason hopes, does this year go down as one of the worst in the history of NC State athletics? Did we accomplish anything at all in any sport? I mean at least last year we had the three individual national champions. I guess Matt Hill could still repeat, but either way Fowler needs to be shown the door.

Our school and facilities are pretty nice and the ACC is a top notch conference for baseball. No excuse to regularly getting beat by Elon and UNCW and BC.

We started off pretty well, hit a bump in the road, started to play better and now are in a free fall. Our offense has been really good, and our pitching has been really awful, but now our defense is putting up like 4-6 errors a game and completely blowing it. A lot of this is coaching, we simply are a terrible fundamental baseball team and horribly inconsistent. I would be completely fine if Avent leaves after Fowler and Annabelle.

PACK wins 6-5. Berg turned into Superman to grab the last out with a Tech runner at 2nd. Jake pitched a great 7 2/3 innings. Game tomorrow starts at 1pm and it is Military Appreciation Day and is on Fox Sports Net, channel 50 on cable or 272 HD.
