So how was it? Was it so crowded with fat middle-age folks that you couldn't actually run and try to set a good pace. From everything I've seen the course is just overloaded with people! I'm considering doing the one in Maryland in October.

The others all ran toward the front of their heats because they wanted to be competitive. I chose to be near the back of mine because of my hip. I did get stuck behind people at a bunch of places, but the people in the front didn't seem to have that problem. So if you don't want to get stuck in the crowds just try to get near the front and you should be fine. I may go to the one in October and hopefully actually be able to run it for real.

No. It was a bunch of people from all ages with very few fat people. Pictures will follow in the next post

ALkatraz: 22:08.20 - 565th place overall - 102nd place the men's 20-24 age group
Liv4weekends: 24:52.25 - 1114th place overall - 177th place in the men's 20-24 age group
Skwinkle: 34:25.75 - 1282nd place overall - 194th in the women's 20-24 age group

There were 5,455 people overall on Saturday.
