also, research is awesome. i have my qualifying exams in april and of course i want to pass, but then that means i am all that much closer to no longer getting to live in this awesome student world.

Man, I couldn't wait to get into the working world.

all the student bullshit that you deal with gets replaced with working bullshit, haha

i think i am destined to stay in academia forever because it is what i love and i have not for one single moment ever wished to be in the 'real' working world.

other than those spazz out moments in the lab where i just want to become a fry cook or something i don't ever think about after i go home.

The two days of freedom, with some money to burn, make the 8-5 grind almost bearable. 3 days of freedom would make it much better...much much better.
