IT WORKED!!!

and i gotta say, the saltiness of the bacon and the sweetness of the nutella/banana is a most excellent combo!

and the crepes were wicked easy

PICS

there's 1 slice of bacon, 1 tbsp of Nutella, and 1/3 of a banana (sliced) in that crepe.

Banana and nutella crepes are the best, an old ex worked at that crepe place at crossroads back in the day and got me hooked on them.

i feel like they're not thick enough (hehe)

like, i shoulda been able to stuff them more. i guess i was worried the crepe would rip or whatever, so i didn't wanna put too much in them.

i will be making these again!

A thick cut piece of bacon does sound pretty delicious, just the right balance of salty/sweet.

Hey thumper son, mail me a bacon crêpe PLS.

DO NOT USE CREAM CHEESE THOUGH SON. CREAM CHEESE IS CREAMY AND IT IS USUALLY WHITE IN COLOR. THOSE TWO THINGS YIELD FOODS WHICH ARE DISGUSTING AND CAUSE PHYSICAL DISCOMFORT UPON VIEWING.

ALSO, GUESS WHAT I AM EATING RIGHT NOW SON?

WTF?! DID I JUST HEAR YOU SAY BBQ LAYS? NO, THAT'S WRONG SON. COMPLETELY WRONG.

IT'S A GOD DAMNED NUTELLA SOAKED PIECE OF TOAST!!!!!!

(I love how nutella gets in the corner of your lips and you wipe off the nutella with a napkin and it tastes good and stuff)

you don't know what you're missing... cream cheese and raspberry jam crepes are the bomb.com - especially when dusted with powdered sugar and put on a whole wheat crepe

ya know what's also a good crepe?

scrambled eggs, spinach/ricotta mix, cheddar and mozzarella cheese on a whole wheat crepe (with possibly some salsa on top)

EASY

Ingredients

* 1 1/4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
* 2 large eggs, at room temperature
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature, plus more for preparing the pan
* 1 cup sugar
* 3 very ripe bananas, peeled, and mashed with a fork (about 1 cup)
* 1/2 cup toasted walnut pieces

Directions

Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt into a medium bowl, set aside. Whisk the eggs and vanilla together in a liquid measuring cup with a spout, set aside. Lightly brush a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan with butter. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

In a standing mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or with an electric hand-held mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually pour the egg mixture into the butter while mixing until incorporated. Add the bananas (the mixture will appear to be curdled, so don't worry), and remove the bowl from the mixer.

With a rubber spatula, mix in the flour mixture until just incorporated. Fold in the nuts and transfer the batter to the prepared pan. Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. Cool the bread in the pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Turn the bread out of the pan and let cool completely on the rack. Wrap in plastic wrap. The banana bread is best if served the next day.

I miss banana bread. I used to make it all the time, but then I switched to banana cookies to use up old bananas. And those rock, so there's no going back.

I went and bought a Nutella jar because of this thread

I grew up with Nutella and have had it all my life, but I quit it 2 years ago and haven't had any since then. I love it to death, but it is just too high in sugar (~ 60% is sugar).

I made the original Nutella thread on TWW almost a decade ago!

When I was a junior in college, I once ate the whole jar by the spoon in 20 minutes... I was hungry

1 jar = 2,000 calories
110 g fat
35 g saturated fat
220 g carbs
210 g sugar
15 g fiber
30 g protein
