If I had an ideal wife she would:

-Not pester me if she knows something is wrong. Be able to read me, and wait for me to talk to her about the way I am feeling.
-Like outdoor activities and adventures and dogs.
-Doesn't mind getting dirty, but likes to get clean...with me... in the shower
-Knows how to take care of herself. Is sexy in an understated way.
-Be independent, and stubborn... but knows when to ask for help.
-Drive a stick shift
-Know how to cook
-Not be a health nazi, or obsessed with her diet.
-Be spontaneous, and surprise me
-Be moderately clean, and clean things without making me feel guilty
-Smell great
-Isn't shy in the bedroom.

Although I don't think I would change much if I decided to talk about my ideal husband either.

Would any of you agree that (at least personality wise), an ideal wife is someone that would also be your best friend... or do you think there's a difference there. My wife is easily my best friend by far and I think that's why everything is pretty awesome.

True, true. My wife and I hadn't met before. We had talked a little, but we developed the friendship as we developed our relationship. I'm shocked at how... perfect of a match her sense of humor is for mine. I tend to be the absurdist type, and she thinks that kind of stuff is funny. It's a multi-weekly thing where I'll say something random and she'll laugh so hard she'll almost wreck the car. It's the best.
