in sully, theres only 1 shower...dual shower head was in the same shower so it doesn't count for same sex ratio haha...plus we had the smelly guys who never showered

i remember having to do a little on campus c-serv for some whatever and i got stuck doing maintenance on west campus...i had some people in my suite with some long ass hair so i decided to go to our shower, remove drain, and clean the hair out...shit was mad gully son

i enjoyed dorm life.

i stayed in the same room, Bragaw 116B, for four solid years (1999-2003)...and have maintained real good friendships with most of my suitemates. good times. went into bragaw with engineering on my mind, and finished my engineering degree on time with little study issues.

haha i worked for housing doing maintenance in the central campus dorms for two school years. some of the hairballs out of those showers would make me dry heave.

All I know is that Owen had it's drawbacks and Lee had it's fucking major drawbacks.

The only thing I miss about dorm housing is the fucking 60mb download speed. I'll probably never have that shit again in my life.

The worst thing about showering in Lee for me was that some workers fucked up our shower pressure one day, and the last semester I was there the water pressure was so soft that it just trickled out of the shower head, you had to get your face pressed against the fucking tile if you wanted to get your hair even soaked. It got fixed like six weeks later, christ.

Lee also has those windows right next to the shower, and you're supposed to open the window so that the steam doesn't build up and set off the smoke detector. Yea, well, the window is pretty much a display case for your junk if you live on the second floor, and I liked to make my presence well known by putting a foot up on the window sill to get some better leverage while drying my legs. I got some heckles and some cheers in my stay there. My RA asked me to stop though, but fuck that, don't put a window there if you don't want me air-drying my junk.

He might keep you up all night because he likes to play when no one else is awake, except for you, because you'll probably not be able to get to sleep.

Mine too, except he was playing Modern Warfare 2 instead of World of Warcraft, and it was on a 360, not an awesome gaming computer.

I narrowly avoided staying with a guy that did exhibit the aforementioned behaviors, though.

Lived in Carroll my fresh year, and 7 out of my 8 roomies were cool as shit we did everything together.
then onto Bowen where I was placed in the sweet with teh Campus Crusade/Jesus folks, which was fine but I was soo NOt about Bible Study three times a week, just not my style, and my last two years were in Bragaw, which was fuckign great and the eye candy playing vball all the time was nice too.
I did one semester at Alexander b/c I wanted the international experience and everyone elses roomy was awesome except for mine, I was stuck in the room with the stinky Singaporean dude who smelled of feet and old cheese, God that was the worst god-damn living semester!! So note to all you incoming freshman, do some background checks on yoru roomy, DONT do the cold turkey thing like I did!! When it works it's GREAT and when it doesnt work its fucking AWFUL!! hehe

Ha, my roommate did have a twin brother that I only met on move-in day. It sounds like you roomed with that kid.

My roommate played MW2 all day, every day when he wasn't in class. He played it on his 360 which was hooked into his awesome, glow in the dark, two big ass bright monitors, shine in my eyes, loud fucking gaming computer.
Everyone in my suite was awesome except for this fucker, and I got stuck with him. Trying to engage him in conversation resulted in impatient one word responses.
