i don't know, i think milan's midfield is pretty ripe for the picking as far as dempsey is concerned...in a change from the last few seasons, milan is involved in a lot of transfer rumors too, so a lot of the old guard may be headed out

So, Man U want Mario and Karim. Who rides the pine in that scenario if both end up there?
I see them getting Benzema and losing Mario to City after they drive the price way up on him.
And why would Bayern want Berba at all, much less for that price? 7/7/2010 11:23:58 AM |

They aren't necessarily broke, they are just having a cash flow problem from the TV deal they signed.
It was a billion dollar deal that was supposed to run through 2013 and it looks like MediaPro (I think that is what they are called) is going to declare bankruptcy.

hate hate hate Balotelli
I think that United might just be fucking with Gary Cook and City on this to drive up the price and expectations so he will destroy their locker room, because Balotelli is a goddamned cancer. I could never EVER picture SAF putting up with his shit.
Sneijder on the other hand, I would love to see at United. But I doubt that will happen, because there's no way he's not gonna cost at LEAST 35 million. 7/7/2010 7:22:59 PM |
Ribs All American 10713 Posts user info edit post |
In his defense, he is a 19 year kid playing for one of the biggest teams in the world. We all did stupid shit when we were that age. He has a lot of room to mature yet.
Thinking about it, SAF might be a good mentor for him, and getting out of Italy may remove some distraction.

Looks like Ronaldinho is headed back to Brazil as he has agreed to terms with Flamengo.
The article also mentions that Milan are targeting Ibra. It'd funny would it be if he went back and won the scudetto with them. Villa's emergence and fact that his style is better suited to for Serie A makes that a great move for both parties IMO.

Adriano to Barca
Quote : | "arça and Sevilla agree Adriano deal
http://www.fcbarcelona.cat
FC Barcelona and Sevilla CF have reached an agreement for the transfer of Adriano Correia that will see the Brazilian move to Camp Nou for an initial fee of €9.5 million and a conditional €4 million extra.
The deal depends on the utility star passing a medical at Barça and the signing of his contract. Adriano will arrive in Barcelona on Saturday in order to undergo a series of tests.
Swapping places
adriano2.JPGAdriano is set to become the second signing of the summer after David Villa made the switch from Valencia before the World Cup Finals. The 25-year-old has shone during his six seasons at Sevilla as he proved that he can play in a variety of positions.
Different positions
Able to play in either full-back position Adriano can also push forward and perform on the left or right of midfield and has even proven his worth in the centre. His vision and desire to help out in attack has won him many admirers and made him a regular in a Sevilla side that has enjoyed winning several major honours in the past few seasons.
Alves again
At Barça next term Adriano will team up once again with former Sevilla colleague Dani Alves. The pair spent four seasons together at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán winning the UEFA Cup twice, the Copa del Rey, the Spanish Super Cup and the European Super Cup. " |
That's a good price. Many had speculated that Navas would be on the way to Barca, so it comes as a surprise to see him move instead. I hate it for Sevilla though, as I like them very much too.7/16/2010 12:30:19 PM |

doesn't jesus navas have really bad homesickness? I think that's why he didn't play with the national team that much until recently. He's awesome but I think he's already turned down a bunch of moves because he doesnt want to be away from home, so I doubt he'll move 7/16/2010 1:29:33 PM |
