^ the band on mine is just like that and after looking for a short time I realized I'll prob have to get a custom wedding band made... quag might have to do the same

(but then again, I get easily frustrated so I just don't want to deal with the hassle of searching everywhere when Bailey's can just make it )

yeah, i'm not sure what we're going to do...what you can't see in the picture is that there are "peakaboo" diamonds on the side of the ring underneath the central stone...pretty much every band hides those diamonds (and more annoyingly, rubs against them)

honestly, the consistently best option we've found so far is a plain band and she's totally cool with that...the only disadvantage is that we were hoping to find something a bit more intricate, since when we travel and backpack/kayak/whatever, she wants to leave her engagement ring at home and just wear the band in case it gets lost or damaged or something

actually, there was a ring at reed's during mother's day that was a twisted silver ring with tiny diamond chips...because it's twisted, it fits really well with the peakaboo diamonds...because of the diamond chips, the silver matches the white gold very well (i don't know if you've ever compared silver and white gold side-by-side, but it's pretty obvious that they're different metals)...i don't know, we might go back and get that

silver is only iffy due to sometimes funny oxidation.... (greening, tarnishing etc)

I'm also not a fan of white gold in general though i can understand why people get it and like it.
