The fact that I'm about to go to bed for the first time in a few nights sober and I don't have to set an alarm for the morning.

Tomorrow I have nothing planned so I will probably sit on the beach most of the day.

I also have money in the bank, enough to last me a while if I didn't get paid on Tuesday. I also have a check in my purse that can hold me over for a while too.

Today I finally didn't want to stab myself in the face at work. Granted it still sucks, but at least I'm getting paid.

I have an awesome group of friends that live all across the state, from Atlantic Beach to Asheville. I think it is so awesome that I could go just about any part of the state and be able to call someone up if I needed a place to crash, I think that is really awesome.

I have a lot to be happy about right now.

I KNOW THE FEELING. ok well i don't. but TUESDAY night i will. first time all summer. i've been sober most of the summer though. no tolerance anymore. but first time in monthsa nd months and MONTHS i can just sleep and do nothing and not have to worry about it comes tues night//wed.

i mean. technically, i have to unpack all my shit and look for jobs. but i'm taking a few days cause...i need a rest period
